Hi! I am Ashley -- a 30-something New Yorker with a bit of reputation for always being out of town. :) Welcome to the channel!
This is a travel-based channel, where I focus on meaningful exploration with a keen interest in natural landscapes and culture. I particularly enjoy finding those off-the-beaten-path destinations, where I can fully immerse in the community and share with you some facts about the region.
I am a certified drone pilot, a director, and have earned three Emmy Awards for my work in production. All videos are filmed, scripted and edited by me. Over the next few months, we’ll resume normal travel videos. We’ve got quite the line up! Roadtrips through Austria, Slovenia, and Iceland. Skiing in France. I’m on my way to visit Christmas markets in Switzerland and Germany next week too. Not sure yet which order I’ll be publishing them, but rest assured that I am already busy writing my scripts.

How soon is TOO soon to start celebrating Christmas? Well, for me, I usually can't bring myself to get into the holiday spirit until the last week of November. This year... I started in May! ;) Join me tomorrow morning on an adventure around England, as I uncover filming locations for one of my all-time favorite Christmas films, "The Holiday." This adventure brought me into the cutest villages and I'm excited to share the trip with you.

This adventure has been a dream of mine since I was 6 and it truly fulfilled every expectation. I’ll be publishing this (and ‘The Holiday’ and ‘Wicked’ all) in November. 🎬🏔️🎵

☀️🌴 Hey everyone! Hope you all have been enjoying your summer. :) I’ve spent the last few months at home in NYC saving up for some very exciting travel plans this fall — which means more videos are on the horizon (beginning November 1 — sorry, they take me a while to edit)!

One thing (of many) that I have yet to share on this channel is my love for theater 🎭 ! I grew up in New York and was fortunate enough to see so many shows on Broadway, where I fell in love with stage production and storytelling. For the last 20 years, #Wicked has continued to be the top musical for me. 💕💚
In honor of the final chapter of the movie, I’ll be releasing a travel video in November taking you to all the spots around London used to film the Wicked movies! As you can see, I’ve already found Munchkinland. 🌈 So, if you are a musical theater nerd, a film buff, or just someone interested in travel around the UK, be sure to check back in as we get closer to the premiere of Wicked: For Good. 🧹🫧@UniversalPictures

Two exciting things this week!
1) I saw my first ever volcanic eruption. What an incredible, life-changing moment for me. I'm such a dork for nature and love to see the earth at work. Mahalo, Pele.
2) You can now listen to my videos in 5 different languages (other than English) - Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Just click the "Settings" button on a video and navigate to "Audio Track" to select. I don't think this applies retroactively, but the options will be there for future videos!
