Dudes be scared to wash their car because they think they need all the equipment seen on YT and TikTok.
Like bro, if you want to wash your car and give it a detail for the first time.. just do it!
If you want to start a detailing business.. just get started.
No work van or trailer? So what
Look, here's my approach, and I know I'm not perfect, but I do believe this is a solid approach:
Start to wash your car. Keep it simple and use basic stuff you can pick up at a local store.
WHEN you're done, then, and only then, should you consider what you could have done better. So then, once you've actually taken action and washed the damn car, then you can look up 'better methods' for certain parts of the job you felt uncertain about.
It's not rocket science.
People make it complicated on YouTube because they need stuff to talk about. They need to make content.
But don't let that content distract or confuse you. At the end of the day, you can do better than ANY automated car wash.

Just deleted my most popular video because it was made with AI and I am DONE with that crap. Hopefully, I'll continue to make better content and my 100% human content will get more views. Until then, I'll just enjoy the process and work on making improvements where I can.

A website for your business doesn't even have to cost $$$
You can follow my tutorials and DIY for free.
This is a detailing channel, but I will be changing things up and removing all videos that included AI voiceovers.. even though people clearly prefer AI over hearing or looking at me LOL
It's all good! For website, SEO, marketing, and some random tech tutorials - check out my new channel @kingplushngames
Also.. if you happen to notice any AI voiceover videos left on this channel, please leave a comment with the words "ai slop" or just call it out however you feel like.. I want to keep this channel human all the way moving forward.
Thanks!

Had to use tape to cover a broken rear windshield with plastic during some bad storms.. as if a tornado putting a tree on the thing wasn't enough!
I left the tape on for too long. So it did NOT want to come off!
I tried using gas, wd-40, goo-gone... but ultimately this cheap chemical is what worked for me....
Watch til the end for some rice action 😂 🤣

You’re doing full interior details for $200, but your customer would’ve happily paid $300.
Why?
Because you didn’t offer the right add-ons. Let me show you how to double your income without booking more jobs.

ONR is still the most versatile detailing chemical you can buy. It's trusted, effective, and always gets the job done. Interior, exterior.. it's safe to use on everything!
I know DIY Detail has an epic rinseless wash @diydetailofficial - and @PanTheOrganizer also has a great rinseless wash.. So many options!!!
I like them all, but still stick with ONR (I bought a ton of bottles years ago!!)
What's your go-to rinseless wash?

Avid Power sells these foam pads at a great deal.. probably the best deal on 6" foam pads you can find on Amazon. A 5-pack for just over $20, and they don't fall apart easy like those other cheap brands.
Get 'em now while they're 12% off: amzn.to/3J3tImO

If you think you need an expensive polisher to get started, then check out this video! I have been using this relatively cheap polisher for about 5 years without any problems. It works, every time.
