I give spoiler-free reviews of classic fantasy books, as well as some science fiction, horror, historical fiction and non-fiction. I always look forward to interacting with other book lovers so feel free to say hello and introduce yourself in the comments of my videos. I can also be reached by email through heroicbookadventures83@gmail.com
This channel is dedicated to the memory of my beloved dog Brutus (2011-2024). He was the best companion anyone could ask for and he'll always have a special place in my heart.
Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.

Be sure to check out Charlotte @CharlottesShelves . She has professional experience as the curator of a rare book collection. So her intelligent book discussions bring a nice level of sophistication here to Booktube. Plus she's just a super cool chick with fun to watch videos. If you heroes enjoy literary fiction or horror/thrillers, be sure to stop by and say hi!

Why wouldn't Dracula's kids ever laugh at his dad jokes? Well... Probably because they all sucked.

Here's Angelina's @BooksDoThingsToMe review video for our buddy read of Song of Kali. She touched on some excellent points that I failed to bring up. Seriously heroes, if you're not already familiar with Dan Simmons, his work is certainly worth looking into.

Hey, everyone! I'm doing a spooky October buddy read with the awesome Angelina from @BooksDoThingsToMe . I always find myself learning so much from her videos and personal stories, so make sure to stop by her channel if you're not subscribed already. We're reading Song of Kali from the legendary Dan Simmons. We'll make sure to let you know what we both think of it.
My apologies for not posting more videos recently. I'm in the process of moving, which I'm sure you're all aware, is very time consuming. A situation came up for me to drastically improve my quality of life at a price I couldn't pass up. Some will be disappointed that I'll probably stop recording in the woods eventually. So I'll have to figure out how I want to approach recording moving forward. Having a Booktube channel and meeting so many wonderful people has been so much fun, though. So still looking forward to interacting with anyone patient enough to wait on me while I figure out my new living situation. I am also so far behind on watching everyone else's videos. Haven't forgotten about you, my friends with other channels. Will get back into the groove of things eventually. Wishing you all the best in life and in your reading endeavors!

My post office had this gorgeous D&D stamp sheet this morning! I wouldn't call myself a stamp collector, but I do pick up any cool looking sheets they have at the time whenever I stop in there. I immediately recognized one of the stamps had the same Larry Elmore painting that appears on the cover of a Dungeons & Dragons history book I have. I'll have to do a showcase video on that beauty at some point.

I was invited for a discussion with my friends Jeff @JeffsCaveofCoolBooks and Sam @CptSamelsSigils of Sterling E. Lanier's Hiero's Journey. It's a really good post-apocalyptic science fantasy quest adventure. It also has two cool animal companions in Klootz the riding moose and Gorm the bear. Both can communicate telepathically with the protagonist. Fantasy and science fiction readers will enjoy this book, as well as Jeff and Sam's channels.

One of my favorite people on Booktube, yet she gets no love from the YT algo. Us fantasy and science fiction readers need to stick together so I'm asking you heroes to please check out my friend, Kastle's channel. She's got a really cool mix of interests.
