A little warning. Dating sites - it's not me
(Meant to be on a break but I want to just warn everyone)

If you see a profile with me on a dating site, don't engage with it. It's not me.

Tonight I was intrigued by a new follower that I had on BlueSky. When looking at their profile I saw that one of their posts was a picture of me. I then saw the picture had a watermark for a website that I'd never heard of. I then went and looked at the BlueSky profile's bio and saw that they were promoting a dating website. So I signed up under a throwaway email and there it was. A fake profile of me.

This has happened a few times before and the websites don't take down the profiles.
I have no interest in joining any dating sites nor apps - so if you spot an account of me just block. Don't engage

Pantyhose VS Stockings

I've been having people correct me in the comments saying I'm using the wrong word - except I'm actually not.

I am South African. Born and live here. Have never lived abroad. We call them pantyhose and we call them stockings.

Please be mindful in the comments that the world is huge and dialects aee different. If you prefer to use pantyhose, that's fine. I will continue to use stockings.
