This Paddle Was Inspired By SHRIMP 🦐 (And It Actually Plays Pretty-Prettttty-Pretty-Good)

I was skeptical about the Revolin Roya. A paddle made with flax fiber inspired by mantis shrimp armor? Sounded like marketing BS.

But after a few hours of play today, this thing genuinely surprised me.

The Feel: Think Gen 1 Bantam but with MORE control. That’s the sweet spot this hits. The proprietary Helicoid + BioFLX surface combined with their TerraGrit ceramic texture gives you this unique blend of soft dwell time with enough bite for consistency.

What I Like: Power sits right in that all-court range...not poppy, just controllable. Swing weight around 112-114 (I have the 5” handle widebody). That ceramic texture is noticeably grittier than standard grit. Resets were LOCKED IN.

The Bigger Picture: Revolin is the most environmentally friendly pickleball company out there, and this is MADE IN THE USA. When you can get performance AND sustainability, that’s a win.
