Hi all,
For all those who watch my videos on STFC, I have noticed an increase in audio issues that have resulted in me not putting videos out. I thought doing the video as part of a live twitch stream also brought up the same issue. I have tracked the problem back to OBS, the recording/streaming software I use. So I shall re-record the Reaver Video with some changes to OBS and hope that sorts it out.
Sorry for the poor content I have released where the audio has been an issue. Hopefully I shall have it sorted shortly with

So we have had the driver of 360115's identity released, the train that sadly crashed into the rear of another train at Bedford South Junction.
The Driver is Shaun Burton, and he is a hero. At the cost of his own life, he fought to try and stop his train, and save as many as he could. Sadly it was only his life that was lost.
Holding to the best traditions, he stayed at his post until the very end, and it's clear if he didn't, more lives would have been lost.
A true British Hero.
Rest in peace, Shaun.

Still rated next to Japan as one of the worlds safest railways, Yesterday evening (19/6/26) saw one of Britain's worst rail accidents in modern history. How this happened or why will not be disgusted in this post, and anyone commenting, please refrain from any speculation as to what happened. Trained and experienced investigators from out RAIB (Rail Accident and Investigation Branch) are currently looking into the cause of this sad event.
It has been confirmed that one person sadly lost their life in this accident, and countless more suffered varying degrees of injuries. I pass on my condolences to the family of the one who sadly lost their life, and wish a speedy recovery to all those injured.
Also a massive Thank you to all the emergency services who were on scene to assist all passengers from both trains. And all those people who were on the trains, thank you for helping those injuries while waiting emergency services to attend the scene.
Here are the basic facts of the accident.
1B67 - EMR service from Nottingham to London St. Pancras, passed through Bedford Station at 1709, running 18 minutes late. This was ran by one of EMR's Aurora trains 810015 and passed through on the Fast Line through the station.
1H46 - EMR service from Corby to London St. Pancras, departed Platform 1 on the Up Slow line, at 1710. This was ran by 360115 and departed ontime.
Both trains were due to pass or stop through Flitwick station on Platform 3, originally scheduled around 21 minutes apart, but due to 1B67 running 18 minutes late, there would only be an estimated 3 minutes between them. So both trains were due to be on the same line.
However near Bedford South Junction, near the Village of Elstow, 1H46 collided into the rear of 1B67 at 1712.
Again, I want to stress, while I have heard what possibly caused the crash, I shall wait for the RAIB report as I feel a number of factors played a part in this.
As I have said, our Railway network is one of the safest railways in the world, with more safety measures in place than I can begin to count. That is why I feel there is the proverbial "Domino Effect" in play here.
It's never nice to see, hear, or even be involved in any accident in life, but especially ones with such severe consequences. So again I'd like to express my deepest condolences to the Drivers family on their loss, and pray for a speedy recovery to all those injuried.

Hi all,
So as the STFC players are aware, I have a discord. I have added a new section for those who follow Trains. It's still building but some channels have already been added.
A tag has also been added which I'll have to do manually, but you will start with a Members tag so you can see the channel runs (if I have done it correctly).
There are now 2 separate tags:
STFC Players
Railways follower
When you join, if you want too, simply add the # sign followed by which tag you'd like.
STFC players, that side of the discord is currently undergoing a rebuild that will start to include charts and anything I can get my hands on for the game we love.

Hi all, so here are some snaps from my video from Doncaster. I'm not the best photographer and didn't have a spare camera to get snaps, hence why they are screen grabs from the video.

Hi all,
So has you've seen there have been new videos of trains appearing on my channel. As a result I will be looking at changing the name of the channel. This will reflect the content I will be adding, continuing with Star Trek Fleet Command, but also adding Trains and also Star Trek Armada 1 & 2.
So how will all this content be added?
I've listed that below.
Star Trek Fleet Command - Patch Notes and New Content ( if I have access). New ships when eventually sourced. Live streams will be switched over to Twitch and will be completely random, working around the official NDA CCs streams. As for my plans to restart the game from the beginning, I have sat down and given it alot of thought. The biggest question is whether or not I'd find enjoyment in the game once again. Sadly the question is no, I wouldnt. I'll explain more shortly.
Star Trek Armadas 1&2 - mission based videos on a weekly basis like episodes (25 for Armada 1 and predicted 30 for Armada 2). This will start dropping in second half of 2026.
Trains - any action in my local area will appear as main form video and shorts, but there will be some main station videos approximately once a month. These will include Doncaster (next video), York, Lincoln and Hull. I have to time station videos around my kids being at school so these may end up being my main staple stations for a while.
So that's the plan for the content.
So back to why restarting STFC from the beginning won't bring back any enjoyment of the game for me
The simplest answer is the way I think. I already know that if I start the game again, I'm just going to end up hitting the same blocks I have today. Also knowing how Scopley run the game, placing the idea of profit over player enjoyment, it's hard for me to be excited about the game.
Yes, Scopley is a business and has to make money, and without money there would be no STFC. It's the sad reality about it. But everything Scopley release comes across as "idea but will it make money?"or Instead of "idea but will players enjoy it?" If the answer would be yes, then build it, then look at ways to make money from it, over a protracted time.
Also content in STFC becomes outdated within a couple of months instead of lasting at least a year. Which needless to say is disappointing. Obviously I keep hoping Scopley will adopt some sort of similar position one day, but we shall have to wait and see.
Finally to finish off, I've been using ChatGPT to create some logos for my channel and shown below is one such idea. It's not final but it's close.
Finally finally, I want to thank all the subscribers and supports of my channel, your continued support gives me the drive to try and think of content for you all, even if it can be a struggle to think of what content I can do.
Live Long and prosper
