📜 _New Week Reflection:_ *WHAT I LEARNED IN TWO DECADES AS A RESEARCH SCIENTIST*

_*From Classrooms, Community Engagements, Field Observations, and Lab Protocol Development*_

I never wanted to be an ordinary scientist. I refused to simply teach without translating *knowledge into tangible products and services* that reach the outside world. That principle still guides everything I do in science.

I prioritise outcomes that create real value for society. That is how effort becomes action, and action becomes solutions.

My foundation was built on biology, geography, and chemistry — three fields I believed even as a child were deeply connected. Growing up with nature books and traditional Arabic lessons shaped my ability to think ahead and see the bigger picture.

At mid-career, I navigated through agronomy, environmental biology, and into genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology. These gave me the tools to examine problems through the combined lenses of *nature, environment, field, and laboratory.*

But most scientists miss one thing: *community*. My work with the MDGs and SDGs taught me that science must connect with people. That experience pushed me to think beyond the usual and pursue something truly different.

The icing on the cake for me is the passion for *digital literacy and technology applications* — using modern tools to investigate, develop concepts, and deliver impact at scale.

During this period, I have also set up a digital workspace and personal research library — all within my bed space, making my living space my real-time laboratory.

So far, these are the elements that make up my experience and drive my current mission: to set up my production lab and launch products born from plant-based observations — offering *360° alternative solutions* in nutrition, therapy, ecosystem restoration, and economic empowerment. It is a big-picture model, currently in trials, integrating everything I have learned.

At this moment, I have launched *GINON.* I am actively developing protocols and formulations for its delivery, driven by goals of *cost-effectiveness and service efficacy.* The past four months in the lab have been deeply revealing. The learning curve is steep: *practical is far from theory*. I have spent many weeks sleepless, trying countless approaches, acquiring equipment, and proving concepts until they worked. This is my true journey to impact — and I am delighted to be here.

I draw inspiration from the *Father of Genetics,* Gregor Mendel, whose major project took about ten years to complete and was only recognized thirty years after publication. As a scientist, I understand that we need not rush for titles or rewards. *True results take time.
