hello guys little update

i’m not sure if i’ll continue uploading
when i scroll on youtube and i see videos related to CB, i do really want to come back, but i just know that whatever i post isn’t gonna do well.
i said that i’ll be using alight motion from here on out but i really just don’t feel like learning a whole new system for something i’m not even that enthusiastic about anymore. + my life has gotten a lot more busy and i’m starting to get some responsibilities that really need more attention

so i might upload a video or 2 sometime but i can’t guarantee anything
i don’t want to definitively say goodbye because i don’t feel like i just want to leave this channel behind, but it feels like i’m trying to save a sinking ship with only tape or something

so that’s pretty much what’s been going on lately. if i do come back i’ll come back strong. i won’t ever make those super low quality “copy-paste” videos as id like to call them because that’s not what my legacy is about

so for now goodbye once again, and if you have any ideas or whatever just let me know and i’ll very maybe consider thinking about it

i’ve noticed that all of my videos have one thing in common. just like every instagram model they use a billion different effects and filters to make something mid look good

i’m not saying that they’re bad but i am saying that if i put the skill of using effects towards actually animating, i might be able to make better videos (think cat-god, urak etc)
not like that matters much cuz my channel is dead netvel hmu🤑

and i’ll do anything to not go back to the absolute hellhole that is youtube sh*rts

so this means that i might actually make the switch to alight motion or another software that’s actually focussed on animating (if you didn’t know, every single one of my videos was made on capcut and this made me go a tad more than slightly insane)

another downside of capcut is that you have to pay to do the equivalent of commencing the rhythmic process of moving air into and out of the lungs to enable gas exchange with the internal environment, primarily to remove carbon dioxide and take in oxygen, also known as breathing

that’s not to say that i’m coming back to animating but i’m also not saying it’s not
take your time to think about that masterfully written statement while i make my billionth ww2 edit

we meet again (read for channel update)

as you might’ve should’ve probably maybe noticed, i stopped uploading. why? well, here’s a few reasons

1. it takes up time, which is better spent working on schoolwork and other hobbies
2. i’m not sure if i want to stay in the countryballs community as the way it is now
3. the amount of time i spent working on each video is not equivalent to the amount of views i get from it

coming back to reason 3, i don’t do youtube because of the views, don’t get me wrong, i do it because i enjoy making the videos. but that doesn’t mean that i can just keep going indefinitely without getting any gain from it

now, i am aware that the videos i make aren't destined to do well. going back to reason 2, half of the videos i get in my feed related to countryballs are just the exact same video made by different people, with small tweaks in between. this loop has gone on for a while and i doubt it’ll end anytime soon. i don’t make these kinds of videos because i think they’re unoriginal and don’t really match the quality of the content on my channel. i like to innovate ideas, or edit existing ones, but that’s not possible if they’re so bland and uninspired (i tried), and that’s why i don’t like making them either

so, what will this mean for the channel? well, uploads will slow down significantly and i doubt there will be any schedule. i still really appreciate all of the support and i do apologise the lack of a 2k special, but there is something in the works that i think you will like more anyway. however, no promises

welp, it appears capcut decided to add a watermark feature, only removable by purchasing capcut pro (and also locking a bunch of the most used effects behind a paywall)

disregarding my opinions on this change (i’m not buying pro lol), capcut gave us the option of putting the watermark in one of the 4 corners. which position do you think would make the watermark as unnoticeable/least annoying as possible?
