From what I've learned, when it comes to making a characters' bias/perspective/mindset; you should ALSO work around why and what convinced them to think like that, and take any possible factors into consideration like experience, outside pov and whatnot.

For example with Glenda *(y'all are not gonna like this)*: She believes that all people (I'm only talking like people NOT in power) whose morals are antagonistic are automatically evil (without consideration of loneliness/ostracization and push comes to shove) because of how it could affect others and how it has affected them (Glenda) personally. Now let's try to look at it from the people's perspective when it comes to a specific group they despise

They have had bad experiences with those type of people in the past, they've seen the worst of that demographic and keep seeing said worst of that demographic. You'd also hate that group too if their people have affected you heavily and you had nowhere to feel safe in, so you lash out and express your hatred for that group of people (this can apply to *YOUNG/OLD* right-wingers, left-wingers, you name it)

I exclaim *YOUNG/OLD* because young people are pretty impressionable and easy to convince with a couple of biased perspectives, and old people usually grow up with their ways and refuse to change in fear of disaster. In the end, it'll all turn to hatred and fights will break out, two sides may not try to wrap their head around the person's reasons and whatnot.

Now *I'D LIKE TO SAY I AM NOT DEFENDING RIGHT-WING MINDSETS*, I am saying that people can easily fall into bad places because of what pushed them to fall into said place. I mean hell, I hate school prefects a lot because of my bad experiences with them even if I'm aware they could've been pressured by their parents to be a model student, so you can't exactly say I don't know what I'm talking about. *I'D ALSO LIKE TO SAY YOU SHOULDN'T AUTOMATICALLY EXCUSE ANY HARMFUL ACTIONS BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM*, you can understand why they'd do such a thing but you can also call out the harm in their behaviour. TLDR; People DONT think without a reason and "convincing" arguments (I put it in quotes bc that could depend on said argument)
