I made a few home decor mistakes so you don’t have to ✨
1️⃣ Buying decor with no color plan — I chose what was cute instead of what worked together, and my space felt busy instead of calm.
2️⃣ Too many statement pieces — when everything stood out, nothing actually did.
3️⃣ Ignoring lighting temperature — mixing warm and cool bulbs completely changed the mood (in the worst way).
4️⃣ Trend-only shopping — fun in the moment, but it made my home feel temporary instead of timeless.
Now, I start with a color palette, layer textures, stick to warm lighting, and invest in pieces I truly love—and my home finally feels intentional and cozy 🤍
