Hi everyone! I just moved on Monday, and my house currently won't have internet set up until next week, and I will also be out of town all of next week for a family event. I don't normally get political on social media, but in a recent recording of Supermarket Simulator I addressed some of the harmful lies that have recently been stated by members of the US government. As a person who often talks about my own experiences with autism on this channel, I feel a responsibility to advocate for autistic people and their value, potential, and worth. As I said in the description of the video where I spoke about this, Autism is a neurotype, not something to be exploited politically. What is being said and done incredibly harmful, and to any other autistic individuals suffering from the ignorant, misinformed morons who try to tell us who and what we can be, they're wrong. You have value, and you deserve to be employed or have relationships if that is what you want to do. You are not a destroyer of families. In a society that is full of stigma and people constantly telling us we won't succeed and we aren't good enough, this is the last thing we need. But you ARE good enough just by being yourself, regardless of whether you can hold a job, have long term relationships, live on your own, or need constant assistance and care. Autistic people have value and deserve the same rights as everyone else. You are not alone.
