The Official Tyesse Report
TySquad, on this Palm Sunday, we remember that Jesus didn’t come riding in on power as the world defines it—He came humbly, on a donkey (Matthew 21:5). The same God who entered Jerusalem in quiet authority is the same God who still enters our lives today—not always loud, not always flashy, but always present.
The people shouted “Hosanna!” because they recognized something divine in front of them—but what they didn’t fully understand was that God wasn’t just visiting them… He was coming to dwell among them.
And here’s the good news for us in 2026:
That same presence didn’t stop at the gates of Jerusalem. It didn’t end at the cross. It didn’t stay in the tomb.
God is still available. God is still moving. God is still with us.
The Bible says in John 14:17 that He dwells with you and shall be in you. That means the same Spirit that rode into Jerusalem now lives inside of you. You don’t have to wait for a moment—you carry the presence. You don’t have to chase God—He’s already near.
So even when life feels uncertain, even when the crowd shifts, even when your “Hosanna” turns into a hard week—remember this:
The King still comes.
The presence still lives.
And God is still with you—right now.

Tyesse!
Thank you so much I deeply appreciate your words and most importantly your powerful insights. Your commentary was not only insightful, but it carried weight, care, and cultural clarity in a moment that truly matters.
We need voices like yours, voices that don’t just report moments, but interpret it, honor it, and push it forward. You are absolutely one of the voices helping shape the narrative around liberation, justice, culture, news, the church, religion and cultural complex issues, and that kind of work is powerful and necessary.
Grateful for you always.
And I’m so honored to be your Pastor.

The Official Tyesse Report
One of my favorite movies from the 90s is "Single White Female"...and if you’ve ever seen it, then you already know… it wasn’t just about a roommate. It was about obsession, identity, and what happens when someone comes into your life already carrying something unresolved.
(I've provided a Link to my favorite scene below)
I was talking to a close friend yesterday, and I told them something very simple: if I ever require us to go to counseling for something we could’ve handled on the phone, please block my number and never speak to me again. Because at that point, it’s no longer about communication—it’s about something deeper that has nothing to do with me.
There is something incredibly cringy about people who force connections. The over-need. The urgency. The immediate emotional investment with people they barely know. It doesn’t read as genuine—it reads as a void looking for a place to land.
And the truth is, that kind of need doesn’t come from nowhere. It comes from somewhere unaddressed. And if you don’t take the time to identify it, you’ll keep transferring it onto people who never signed up to carry it.
Not every relationship is 50/50. Some are seasonal. Some are surface. Some are just not that deep. And that’s okay. Everything doesn’t require intensity, depth, or lifelong commitment.
Expectation is where a lot of disappointment is born. When you walk into situations expecting people to show up in ways they never agreed to, you set yourself up for disappointment every time.
And if you gave more than you received, that is not something that requires counseling—that’s a life lesson. I said the other day, all things are lessons that God would have us learn.
Move with awareness. Not desperation.
And for the love of God… stop trying to turn Virtual Relationships into Soul Ties.
