Freddie was more than a legendary voice. He was a kind, generous soul who loved his fans, his family, his friends, and his music with everything he had. For decades he gave us the songs that became the soundtrack to our love stories, our celebrations, and our most treasured memories. That gift will live on forever.

To everyone who ever sang along, danced, or felt something when Freddie took the stage: thank you. You were family to him, and he carried your love with him always.

🍂🩷 HELLO, OCTOBER. 🩷🍂
September, we gave you our best shot. We walked into you talking about a reset, fresh energy, and hitting the ground running—and somehow, September reminded us very quickly who was boss! But here’s the beautiful thing about life: we get to begin again. We don’t have to carry September’s disappointments, frustrations, delays, or heavy energy into a brand-new month. So, October, we’re showing up again—hopeful, grateful, wiser, and determined to protect our peace.

And as we welcome October, we also honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month is deeply personal for me. I lost my mother to breast cancer in 1995 at just 52 years old. 🩷
I carry her memory with me every day. I also know that so many members of our TySquad are breast cancer survivors, and this month I celebrate YOU. I honor those currently fighting, those who survived, the families who stood beside them, and the beautiful souls whose battles ended but whose love and legacies remain.

So here is our October affirmation:
This month, I choose life, peace, healing, joy, abundance, and forward movement. I release what September could not fix. I refuse to drag yesterday into tomorrow. I give myself permission to reset—again. I will celebrate small victories, protect my energy, love the people who love me, and remain grateful for every new morning I am blessed to see. What didn't happen last month can happen this month. What hurt me does not get to define me. What delayed me does not get to defeat me. I am still here, still growing, still believing, and still becoming.

No pressure. No perfection. Just another opportunity to begin.

New month. New grace. New energy. Same goal: KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

I don’t know why I can’t get this whole scenario out of my head. I know we’ve playfully coined it “AS WE LAY GATE,” but people’s hearts are no laughing matter. And I just want to reiterate: I always felt that man was full of waste-dump excrement—but it wasn’t my platform, it wasn’t my situation, and I was watching from a distance. Something about his voice, the cadence, the talking a little too fast, the presentation of being so deep, so thoughtful, so spiritually evolved—I just couldn’t buy it. Something always felt off to me. So hearing everything that has now been alleged about the situation and watching this whole Decepticon storyline unfold only reinforced why I pay attention when my discernment starts tapping me on the shoulder.

If nothing else, this has given me a renewed appreciation for a discernment I’ve had since childhood: when something in me says, “That ain’t it,” it is very hard for me to unsee what I see. Hopefully this gentleman disappears into the YouTube witness-protection program and never returns, although I’m not holding my breath. It’s a sad day in hell when folks can come on YouTube cosplaying as pastors, ministers, philosophers and deep thinkers, only for the cape to blow open and reveal what looks like the common, everyday F-R-U-C-K boy underneath. Ladies, keep your eyes open, your hearts guarded, and your belongings accounted for—because somebody could’ve almost walked away with all of yo' stuff. shout-out to Loretta Devine.

TUESDAY AFFIRMATION 🌿“
When you learn, teach. When you get, give.” -Maya Angelou

Today, I will not measure abundance only by what comes to me, but by what can flow through me. The wisdom I have gained can encourage someone. The doors that opened for me can become pathways for someone else. And the blessings God has placed in my hands can become seeds when I choose to share them.

This Tuesday, I choose generosity over scarcity, purpose over possession, and gratitude over entitlement. I trust that giving does not diminish me—there is always more wisdom to learn, more love to share, and more room to grow.

Today, I receive with gratitude, give with intention, and grow with purpose.
