I'm thrilled to share that I was featured in this thoughtful The Cut (‪@NewYorkMagazine‬ ) article about repurposed jewelry. In it, I shared how I transformed my late mother’s gold into pendants and rings for my children. These were pieces I knew I would never wear, but I didn’t want them to just sit in a safe. Rather than selling them, turning them into heirlooms felt like the most meaningful way to honor her.

I celebrated my birthday this weekend. It's been a few years since I've gone out on my birthday but I pushed myself to do so this year and I'm so glad I did. We had dinner and cocktails at The Queensboro and ended the night with a family movie night at home. It was great and I'm so thankful for another year.

A Moment of Honesty & Vulnerability:

I've been in a real funk for the last several weeks. The one year anniversary of my mom's death hit me harder than I expected. I've had little desire to do much and the current state of the world with 24/7 easy access to the news into has not been helping. The daily mixed emotions I feel can be overwhelming.

I'm trying really hard to pull myself out of this for myself and my loved ones. I'm going to try to start posting the content I've been procrastinating to publish because, quite frankly, I need the work and distraction. I started my creator journev as a creative outlet when 1 began working in politics and starting my family. I hope spending some time sharing the things that make me smile Will help me through this tough stage and maybe it can do the same for some of you.

So...my feeling sick turned into full blown bronchitis! I'm finally better and getting back to my editing/posting routine. A message from your stressed out and unmediated ADHD creator:

As you may have notice, I'm am way behind on my content schedule due to my son being very sick for a few weeks, preparing for our Spring Break trip and then spending a week away on said trip. The videos I've been posting were filmed weeks ago at this point and I'm even working on a vlog of my weekend in Palm Spring in January...yes, January.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for sticking with me and watching. All of your views, likes and comments mean so much for me. I really appreciate each and every one of you. Not going to lie - we've had a difficult few weeks over here and I'm just really thankful for y'all.
