📣 We’re proud to introduce Virinder, our newest board member!

👨‍🏫 Virinder is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Warwick and serves as the Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Internationalisation).

His research focuses on social inequalities in the UK, with particular attention to racial and religious discrimination. He’s also a leading voice on South Asian studies. His latest publication? A powerful exploration of the Indian Farmers Protests (2020–21).

We’re thrilled to welcome his deep expertise and passion for justice to the board.

Wish Wash Time Machine is a devised youth theatre piece, directed by Fateha Begum of ‪@saathihouse‬ exploring connections between Birmingham’s diaspora communities from the global south through sharing of past and present migration stories.
