NEW HALLOWEEN PARROT MIX!
Hello everyone!
Just a quick post to let you all know our new improved limited edition Halloween mix is now available! It's always a hot seller and once it's gone it's gone!
We have also added another new product called the Fiesta Forage. Inspired by South America it has tons of colour/flavour and we've also made it fine cut to appeal to even the fussiest beaks.

Today me and Sophie cohosted an all day event alongside a fellow trainer at the Kiwa Centre! It included multiple talks and presentations in our parrot related specialised areas and some workshop activities for our attendees! It was awesome to catch up with the staff, meet everyone and see the parrots!

Hello birdie gang!
Community update post time!
Firstly, if you missed it, my latest podcast interview with Dr Jason Crean is now available. We discuss how to make food fun for your parrot!
You can find it here: https://youtu.be/RXI5Y8wiYDk
It's been mega busy and also very hot here at the bird HQ. We've been doing lots to keep the flock cool. Extra bathing opportunities, ice in their waters, frozen fruit treats as well as gentle misting have all helped keep them happier in the heat!
It's really important to remember that although many parrots are genetically adapted to cope with hotter temperatures. The one's we often keep as companions have grown up in more temperate climates, so are more used to cooler temperatures!
Some more quick announcements:
Me & Sophie are excited to announce will be hosting a special one day Parrot Keeper Workshop in September along with Nicky from Shaping Behaviour and president elect of the IAATE.
This is going to be a very special event as it not only includes professional talks, but also a tour of the Kiwa rescue centre and opportunity to get close to some very special parrots.
This workshop day is suitable for both professional zoo keepers as well as companion parrot keepers or rescues.
We do only have limited spaces due to venue capacity, so if you're interested do take a peek promptly!

For those of you who have been asking we now have the entire range of our food products back in stock on the website after a huge restock. I apologise for the slight delay, but we got slammed by back to back wholesale orders!
We have also reduced our free postage threshold and added a new product: The Digestive Support Mix.
This mix to designed to gently support and help your bird's digestion. Perfect as an extra in their dry mix, for foraging or for a bird who needs a little extra support after medication.
