Excited to share that I'll be speaking at UXINDIA 2026 in Bengaluru!
For years, we've designed interfaces for humans to interact with software. Today, we're designing interactions with intelligent systems that can understand, reason, and act.
This shift calls for more than new tools—it demands that we rethink the fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction.
Looking forward to sharing my perspective, challenging a few assumptions, and learning from an incredible community of designers, researchers, and innovators.
Thank you uxindiaconf (ux-india.org) and Kaladhar Bapu for the opportunity.
Let's start with a fact- Design and Tech have taken over our world.
The next gen of changemakers is passionate about building products that enable them to be in charge of their future.
In this evolutionary transformation, the DesignUp Conference has a pivotal role to play.
Just another design meetup? Naaahh!! It's more, my friend, much more.
DesignUp takes the leap into providing actionable insights to enable all connected to the platform to tackle any challenge that life throws at them with mindblowing designs.
In short, DesignUp is about courage and storytelling with Design.
It gives me immense pleasure that I have been invited to be part of the cohort of DesignUp'22 in Bangalore on the 17th and 18th Sept.
I get goosebumps when I think that I will be sitting in the same room as Harish Sivaramakrishnan - Head of Design, CRED, Nav Pawera - Head of Design, Jiva, Meeta Malhotra - Founder, The Hard Copy, Ashish Goel from Blinkit, Shirish Andhare from Twitter, Soo Basu from Atlassian, Jay Dutta from udaan.com, Suresh Venkat and folks from Tata Consultancy Services, Google, Microsoft, Ogilvy design teams.
I look forward to making the best out of this event.
But- why am I telling you this? To share all the limited edition knowledge without limits. No kidding.
My team will gather all we can, process and deliver content in the coming weeks, So if you have any queries on UI/UX, design thinking, or product design -put them in the comments. They will be Dhakad.
A short but powerful quote I saw on the notice board at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay guest house.
Such motivational quotes provide us with a quick and timely burst of wisdom to get our focus back, offering the inspiration needed for the day or occasion.
I used to be so frightened, self-conscious, in short of words with my feet trembling. I was not able to concentrate and think clearly to put my thoughts in logical order. I used to feel these inadequacies whenever I faced a group of people, let alone a huge audience. Then I took a pause and thought "what will it mean to me to speak convincingly and persuasively during business presentations. I thought about the increased capacities if I can address a large group of the audience!"
And then there was no turning back. I gathered MY WILL and embarked on a journey of public speaking. Was it successful? Was I able to engage my audience effectively and persuasively?
This is my fourth success in hosting for Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. I have probably lost count of other events that I hosted for my organization Gemini Solutions Pvt Ltd and other communities.
What do you think was the most effective habit I developed to improve my public speaking skills and boost my self-confidence?
1. Visualized and manifested: Pictured myself addressing ton loads of audience 2. Planning and Practice: always planned my content and never memorized it. Practiced several times before an event, probably in front of the mirror. 3. Enthusiastically sieged every opportunity: assertively stood up at department meetings and public gatherings.
