Sorry, it's been a while, the next video is fully edited and complete I'm just working on recording the Spanish dub. As of recently I've been trying to make my channel accessible to Spanish speaking viewers, including translating this post.

So quickly just wanted to talk about Jurassic World: Evolution 3 and it looks INCREDIBLE. It's got everything I could dream of. Quickly some minor concerns, I'm worried about species picks as there are 82, more than 40 fewer species than JWE2, and I'm concerned about the pricing and reselling DLC, as well as how Rebirth will be affected. But enough of that, it looks like everything we could've wanted. Finally better terrain tools that allow us to make substantial changes, removed hitboxes, modular building, new biomes new animals and BABIES! This is what we've been waiting for and I'm completely on board.

Hello everyone, sorry for disappearing again. I promise something is in the works.

I just wanted to chime in with my thoughts on Jurassic World: Rebirth since the trailer released. I don't like doing reaction videos or theory videos anymore, focusing on video essays, I still figured I'd circle back around.

Just based on the trailer, Jurassic World: Rebirth looks REALLY good. I love the vibrant colors, the new re-designs being a mix of more modern and still that Jurassic style, and the general feel of the film. I don't like that some of the hype is based around hate of the previous 3 movies, but I myself am very excited for it. Gareth Edwards is a good director, and all of the talent behind the film is very promising. It reminds me a lot of the approach of Alien: Romulus, a film which I truly love. I have high hopes for this. I also will just put it out there that I actually like the mutant, and am interested to see where it goes. It's a unique way to give Rebirth it's own signature addition to the franchise, like Romulus's Offspring. It looks to be a return to the older formats while still feeling fresh. I'll definitely be covering Rebirth after it releases.

So I wanted to post about something that's a bit heavier than what I usually cover, but I feel it's important to say something about it. While normally I don't mention these things, I wanted to discuss recent statements by the YouTuber Red Raptor Writes that have been brought to light through Paleo Nerd's community post. While I had suspected he was right-leaning, and he had made some very questionable jokes, this is where I draw my final line. Labelling the trans community (and by extension the rest of the LGBTQIA+ community) as pseudoscience is pure bigotry on so many levels. Invalidating the simple existence of millions of people who do absolutely nothing to you is unforgivable. The scarier part is that he has crept into the scientific paleontology community, focused on giving the most up-to-date facts and being cutting edge and inclusive in terms of scientific knowledge. Claiming to be a trustworthy source of knowledge and then contributing the culture war while saying outright lies and denying the true science affirming the feelings of trans people is disgusting.

I say all of this especially because he has publically helped me start this new channel in the past, and I used to enjoy his content before learning of all of this. This came as a massive disappointment to me. While I do not want to be a backstabber, I absolutely cannot endorse this or be associated with it. Even though he has shouted me out, my views are absolutely not aligned with his. While everyone is free to enjoy what they want, I do not recommend the channel of a bigot.

I am on the side of inclusivity, diversity, unity, embracing each other's differences, and most of all REAL SCIENCE. That means all of it, not selective science like Red Raptor Writes. If you share his views on issues like these, and do not stand for the values above and you align with Red, then this channel does not welcome you. In a divided time like this, we must unify and remain unified.

For proof on these screenshots, he made a "joke" about there only being 2 genders in his accuracy review on Chased By Dinosaurs. I won't link the video in order to not encourage supporting him, but I felt I should state the origins of this for proof.

I have watched Season 6 of The Dragon Prince (It was fantastic!), however I'm going to have to push back the video essay. This is because of the WONDERFUL news that Season 7 is going to be releasing later this year in December!
