whew! hi everyone!

I apologize, it’s been so, so long and so much has changed. I can’t tell you how much I’ve grown and how much has happened since I stopped uploading.

I stopped because I didn’t feel comfortable uploading to this account anymore. I had revealed this channel to my personal relationships without taking future events into account, and someone who I had cut contact with used this medium and others to make contact with me. I am no longer concerned; I have since moved far away and it’s been made clear that they will no longer be contacting me again.

this info isn’t important to you guys, though. what’s important is that I really, really miss doing vocaloid.

I’ve considered my options and right now my decision is that I will make a new channel. I no longer want to use this account or this name not only due to the reasons stated above, although either way I’m sure I’d be fine and nothing would really happen, but I just feel that I’m such a different person that I need a fresh new start. I know that’s a cliche thing to say and at the end of the day we’re always the same person throughout our life, but like,, during this entire channel’s history I was a minor 💀 and I just need a clean slate I hope u guys understand

but yeah, that’s where I’m at. I don’t want to directly link my new channel once I get that going, but I’ll make sure y’all can find me. I’ll drop my hints, I’ll let you guys know what’s up 😉 I plan on continuing doing covers but I also want to focus on my own music too! and I’m planning a particular cover rn,,

so yeah. this is my birthday gift to myself and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I have a lot of work to do, mainly transferring voicebanks from my godforsaken craptop that was somehow how able to run vocaloid to my new device. and also making a new name?? very exciting.

hope you guys can find me without much hassle!! not to send you on a wild goose chase, sorry bout that 😅 but I’ll come back and let you know as soon as I set everything up. you haven’t seen the last of me <3

hey guys, it's been a while.

thank you for being patient with me and continuing to watch and support my videos even if i've been very unactive. it really means a lot to me to work hard on something i love doing and having people enjoy it too.

as of right now, the future of this channel is up in the air. i've gone through so much irl i can't even describe it to you guys and i've been terrified to upload since the last video (which ironically that video describes a tiny bit of what i went through). currently, things have calmed down and i feel a little safer, just a little, but i'm swamped with work and finals and i don't know when my next upload will be. i don't even know what it will be, and i hope it will be soon but i'm not sure considering posting this little thing makes me nervous. i'm a bit more active on my instagram now if you need me or if you'd like to see my art @darlynn__drawwin.

i'm really, really hoping things have settled and i'll be able to post regularly again without concern. in the mean time, please me patient with me or check out my insta if ya miss me lol i'll see u again in due time
