I resonated with it especially this year, with so much going on, not just in the country, but in my home state of Florida, and I wanted to reflect that a bit within the video. Still in the process of finalizing an edit to our next video for the channel, so it's gonna get to you guys later than I'd prefer, but it is on its way! We're also looking at working on our process that I hope will allow us to attend to each video's quality, which I'm very excited about, beginning in October! We got scary season right around the corner, I got cast in Rocky Horror Show as Frank 'n Furter for my first professional theatrical gig in a while, so I'm looking forward to embracing all of the Halloween-y goodness this next month is going to present (if you're interested in catching me in that show in Gainesville, FL, you can find tickets at thehipp.org). I'm plugging along at my own editing and everything else, so it's been very busy, but incredibly fulfilling. It's a little harder for me to bulk shoot and have back-up videos at this time, due to working on the new Sanders Sides episode. My sincerest apologies to you all!! Really frustrated, but I'm coming to terms with the fact that rest is needed in order to recover as quickly as possible. Once I'm better, we'll get this very fun video finished and out to you all to enjoy the silliness and, in this particular video's case, shadiness... In other news, I've started editing the Sanders Sides episode, and am working on a new cover song, out of which I have a strong suspicion you'll get a kick. New games with friends are under way as well that have been an absolute riot, and I'm looking forward to you seeing them and having fun with us! Ok... Alas, the video I was aiming to get finalized today just needs a liiiiiiittle more work and I won't have the resources I need to be able to help me finish it this weekend. My apologies, everyone, I would have alerted you all sooner, but I was once again working down to the wire before having to make this call. I'm REALLY freaking excited about this video, which involved a particular game many of you might know... and I just want it to be perfect, cause a lot of my friends worked hard for this one and... ugh I just have a feeling you're gonna love it, cause I... *loved* it. (Picture number 2 down below is a sneak peek at some of the setup) But!! The good news is that means this coming week is going to be a double feature!! On Friday, August 29th, I have a new song dropping, "TALK SHIT", a collab I did with the artist, PEGGY. The music video will *also* be dropping that day, and you'll be able to watch it over on @Peggymusik's channel! Some of you may remember that goal you hit when you joined me for the livestream fundraiser for the family of puppet maker, Adam Kreutinger's family, the one in which, if you hit it, I would have to do a photoshoot inspired by the puppet version of Virgil from the Sanders Sides episode, "Learning New Things About Ourselves"? We've finally made it happen! And those pictures will be dropping this Monday! (Picture 3)
Speaking of Sanders Sides, we are rounding out the filming for the newest episode!! Just got done filming a second character's parts for the episode, and we've only got a couple scenes left, then it's off to finalizing the edit!! Dang, it feels good lol
Boo to hitting obstacles, but yay for doing cool things regardless, and I look forward to you all seeing these upcoming things! Hope you're taking care of yourselves and this week brings you nothing........ but good things! (Hmmm not quite sure how successful misleading compliments work in a youtube post form)
