Reinforcing the Punjab Government’s commitment to public welfare during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dr. Kiran Khurshid, the Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Food Safety and Consumer Protection Department, personally oversaw the proceedings at the Nigheban Dastarkhawan in Children Hospital, Lahore. The Nigheban Dastarkhawan arrangements are well organized, as the number of beneficiaries has been increasing since the 1st of Ramdan, from 1,000 people and the trend is increasing every day, today the total number of people were 1500.
The Secretary FS&CPD on-site supervision ensured that the arrangements were not only well-organized but also imbued with a spirit of compassion. By monitoring the distribution and overall atmosphere, the Secretary aimed to maintain discipline while respecting the dignity of every beneficiary. This act of direct oversight highlights the department's resolve to maintain integrity in its humanitarian efforts.
