It often bothers me what birthday wishes to make. A new toy I wanna get? The resolution I made during new year? Or to wish everyone healthy like the previous birthday wish? My 28th birthday is by far my unforgettable birthday. Unfortunately, in a tragic way. I took a hard lesson to realize how fragile life is, and how much we take our loved ones for granted. However, in my time of sorrow, I never lost hope. All because of you who show up in the middle of the night to help out, you who relentlessly sent me messages even if I told you to stop because you just can’t wait any longer, you who show up to make sure I’m hanging there. I can not express how touched and privileged I feel now to have all of you as my friend and family. Now that Su is gone, my job is to live the life she’d want me to live. Cease every second as the unique moment. Treat every person with the most sincerity. Laugh out loud at every little thing as the funniest joke. Dream big. Push hard. Dig deep. Go wild BUT WITH CALCULATED RISK. That is my 28th birthday wish, and I encourage to do so, too.
