Trump imposes Tariffs on India but this will Impact US citizens not in India because Tariffs need to pay when you are buying something in your country not when other countries are selling the goods or services. Yes, this will hurt India because now the Indian goods are available at high prices in US markets but India can adjust the products in other countries.
