You will learn to think biblically about everything so you can deal with false teaching, know what Scripture says about specific issues, prove Christianity is true, go deep into theology and become a go to resource for biblical knowledge so you can help others. I have a passion for helping others to carefully and thoughtfully understand and apply the Bible by creating the well-researched biblical content that you have been starving for ever since you first believed.
I’m Mike Winger, after serving for 14 years as a pastor in the local church I have a heavy burden on my heart to get REAL Bible teaching and knowledge into the lives of others. I want to give you the teaching I’ve been craving for my whole Christian life. I want you to be able to hear me make the case for my views and to be able to reason it through for yourself.

And helping us uphold a deep, biblical value to only believing what is true.

Very wise words from Todd Friel in response to very reckless ones from Mark Driscoll.
Don’t just cut off your church without working through these things.

I didn't listen to much of Charlie Kirk before he was murdered. Now i find myself agreeing with him and cheering him on when I do listen, most of the time. I'm sad that his murder is what made me more aware of his work.

No stream today. I’m still working on an important and time sensitive video that is taking a lot of man-hours to get done.
Here’s an encouragement for you today.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.””
Lamentations 3:22-24 ESV
If you have the time, and want to see how profound this passage is when it comes to God’s grace of wicked sinners who have ruined their own lives with their persistent sins, I encourage you to go and read all the context leading up to the verses I quoted above. Read Lamentations 1:1-3:24. It won’t take long.
After ignoring Jeremiah’s warnings and persisting in sin the people of Israel are judged by God. God uses their earthly enemies to destroy their cities, destroy the temple, kill many people, and deport the rest as captives into a foreign land. Imagine that happening to you because of your persistent sin. Then, Lamentations is written. It is mostly just crying and sobbing and recounting the destruction they have had at the hand of God’s justified wrath. It would be so easy for Lamentations to simply be a hopeless book, filled with pain, regret, loss, and no hope. When a person’s life is devastated by their own sin they can easily feel there is no way back, no hope of grace, forgiveness, and “things being right” again. However, Lamentations gives us all the reasons why a person would feel hopeless in such a situation in chapters 1-3. Then, in the passage I quoted above, it shows how such a person still has hope in God’s grace. You too have hope in God’s grace. His mercies truly are “new every morning.” Even if your sin has ruined your life there is time now for you to hope in Christ. Turn to God. Learn the lessons your pain is teaching you. Lament and grieve over it, but trust in God. He showed us on the cross that He will forgive.
Jesus suffered and died not merely for weak or powerless people (though we are often that) but for sinners. Wicked people. People who have rebelled against God and done their own thing. People who have nothing to offer to God but their sin. Jesus takes that sin to the cross, pays the price, dies our death, rises from the grave, gives us his own righteousness, and eternal life.
The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will have hope in him.

I remember attending a conference many years ago where the speaker declared that Greg Laurie was “Emergent” and that he refused to teach about Hell.
I was also aware that Greg Laurie had just done a series of teachings on Hell, in his local church as well as on radio. He was unashamed and brought a real warning and call to repentance.
I share this because even while I make content exposing some issues in ministries I am deeply aware that there are a lot of lying accusations out there. I try to vet everything before I share it. I also don’t share most of what I actually know about. But I just want to remind everyone not to just believe every claim against a leader. Look for the evidence that proves the claim true.

This is my church and much of what Eric says in this interview is the reason I am part of the fellowship there.
Every church doesn’t have to copy this but I am blessed to be part of such a fellowship.

When met with hypocritical standards in social media posts I will often respond with mirroring. That is, I do not defend myself against the accusation but try to show the commenter that they are violating their own standard.
For example, suppose someone wants to challenge my recent series exposing Cover-up Culture. They want to accuse me of being ungodly for speaking publicly against abusers and frauds.
Them: “Mike, why are you bashing Christians?”
Me: “Why are you bashing me?”
Them: “Mike, you’re supposed to go to that leader privately, not air out issues on social media.”
Me: “Why didn’t you come to me privately instead of airing out that issue on social media?”
Them: “Christians shouldn’t participate in the discussions you are having. It’s ungodly to even give it the time of day. You should be preaching the gospel instead.”
Me: “If you believe that then why are you participating in this discussion, giving it the time of day, and NOT out there preaching the gospel?”
I see such hypocritical standards as part of Cover-up Culture and they need to be called out. Imagine all the times someone who has been abused by a leader, who has reached out to tell what happened and ask for accountability, has been met by such claims. Well-meaning bullies swoop in and condemn the injured person. They don’t care if the story is true. They don’t care if the leader is an abuser and a fraud. The only sin is in talking about it.
