Our first ever group tour to Nigeria was a HUGE success!

We visited the Southwest of the country with a group of 10 travelers from five different countries experiencing the authentic Nigeria they don’t show you in the media.

We got to do some really unique things like meeting a traditional Yoruba king, dance parties with Nike of Nike’s Art Gallery, and hiking to some beautiful waterfalls.

She said yes!

Adenike and I met nearly three years ago on my first trip to Nigeria. She was my Couchsurfing host and showed me around Abeokuta and Lagos. It’s crazy to believe that three years later I’d be here in Amsterdam popping the question.

We started off just as friends and it took over a year before we officially began dating. Our love of travel together has brought us all around Africa and Europe and to Lebanon and Mexico.

It is still a long way until we can live together in Atlanta as the US spousal visa process currently takes two years applying through Nigeria.

It is a big process ahead, but we’re both so excited for what life has in store for us!
