Do You Know That All You Are Going Through Is To PURIFY YOU FOR PURPOSE?

“I will bring them through the fire… I will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’” ZECHARIAH 13:9

Family,
There are seasons where life feels like a fire,
a fire of pressure, a fire of confusion, a fire of waiting, a fire of breaking and rebuilding.

👂But hear this:
God does not bring you into the fire to destroy you.
He brings you into the fire to define you.
To refine you.
To reveal who you truly are in Him.

🔥 1. The Fire Is Your Refining Place

God says, “I will bring them through the fire.”

This is not just a verse…
It is a divine declaration, spoken directly from the mouth of the Lord Himself.

WHO SPOKE IT?

God Almighty.
Not a prophet, not an angel, God Himself.

TO WHOM WAS IT SPOKEN?

To His people, Israel…
But through Christ, this promise now belongs to everyone who believes, including you🫵.

This is God saying:

God speaks directly to that pain in Zechariah 2:8

Let’s unpack this together 👇

“He sent Me after glory…”
God is saying, I am stepping in for My glory’s sake.
Every time the enemy rises against you, it’s not just about you, it’s about His glory being revealed through your restoration. He’s not a distant observer; He’s an involved Defender. ⚔️

“To the nations which plunder you…”
To plunder means to take something valuable by force, to strip someone of what belongs to them.
Many of us have been plundered in different ways:

💔 Some emotionally, people took your peace and left you broken.

💸 Some financially, opportunities stolen, losses you can’t explain.

🔥 Some spiritually, your fire, joy, or confidence drained by constant battles.


But here’s the good news, God is coming after those things.
He says, I’m going after glory… I’m going after what was stolen from you. 🙌

Then comes the most intimate part:

“For whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye.”

This means you are God’s most sensitive place, His treasure, His heart.
When someone hurts you, it’s not just an attack on you, it’s an offense to Him. Think about how you’d react if someone poked you in the eye, instantly, protectively, fiercely.
That’s how God reacts when someone tries to harm His own.
