It’s been a while since my last video, but I’ve been hard at work! I’m expanding my analysis to include CPU performance. Over the past year, I’ve been collecting data and refining models to gain deeper insights into CPU performance. While I’m getting close to publishing my results on my website (pcanalytics.com), there’s still plenty of work ahead. I released a short earlier this week that contained some inaccurate information, which was pointed out by helpful feedback from the community. First, I want to thank everyone who provided that feedback!

In the short, I mentioned that 130W on an AMD CPU and 130W on an Intel CPU result in different temperatures due primarily to electrical resistance. However, this isn't the main factor. The primary reasons behind the temperature differences are related to factors like CPU architecture, thermal design, and the electrical efficiency of the processor. These play a much larger role than electrical resistance in determining how much heat a CPU produces.

• Need Suggestions for CPU testing •
Currently I'm working on developing metrics for CPU performance (similar idea as I have approached coolers but with CPU performance instead of cooling). Right now I'm in the process of exploring applications to use for performance test with the idea of providing more than just a single number (as most others reviewers do).

Any suggestions on what applications I should explore?

Couple additional items:
• Application must have command line API (CLI/ CL API/ API) or a way for me to programmatically interface with it and get score.
• I have already built into the process Geekbench6 and PerformanceTest11 (PassMark).

Introducing new applications later down the line will be more difficult so I figured I'd solicit suggestions before I get too far.

While I may be producing fewer videos, my focus lies in enhancing the performance of CPU coolers on various CPU models by expanding the workflow. Encouraging progress has been made thus far!
