I am still alive, but unfortunately unable to continue any of my hobbies for the time being. I actually haven't physically seen my animatronics in almost a year and I miss them so much. They're all safe, cared for, and very VERY loved until I can return to working on them. Right now I need to focus on getting through the remainder of my backlog of owed costume work and refunds so I can get my life back.
In the meantime.... the Circus Playhouse show from my first Circus Playhouse video HAS BEEN SAVED!!!!!

And by some really awesome people too!!
This is the set that was 'in a fire' and doomed to be 'installed in a haunted house' (neither of which turned out to be true). They've been on display at a salvage shop in GA for years but the owners finally caved and sold them. That means that as of now, not only have the majority of the shows/characters been found, they're all owned by actual fans of the show.
Secondly, check this out! These are documents I scanned detailing the inventory of all the shows in 1986 before they were auctioned off.

Hey everyone! I apologize for the lack of updates on my animatronic shows and restoration projects.
The only thing really holding me back from making progress is money. Everything in this hobby is costly. Valves, fabric, rubber, cylinders, control systems, etc.
I am a freelancer and live off of my art, but I unfortunately got way in over my head and ended up with a huge backlog and refund list. Since being diagnosed with ADHD and put on medication for it I've gotten through a LOT of my list and paid back a ton of the money I owed, but I still have more to go until both lists are complete.
Since most of my time and money goes toward my backlog and refunds, I don't have much money outside of money for bills and groceries, etc.
I'm not comfortable doing a fundraiser or anything right now for money for my projects (people are still accusing me of lying about the money for the Circus Playhouse showtapes despite posting proof of the deal/transaction on the fundraiser itself. Not to mention that I paid out of pocket to get the tapes physically preserved and digitized).
I will get back to them as soon as I can! I miss working on them so much.

I'm sorry for the year long break from uploading. I'm happy to announce that I am, in fact, still alive and will be resuming animatronic updates very soon!

I've been experimenting with 3D scanning to digitally repair and recreate the existing masks for my animatronics. Here's Colonel Beauregard's latex mask glued back together, reinforced, 3D scanned and digitally cleaned up. Left in the first image is the raw scan of the 40 year old mask, right is after digitally undoing the damage. I turned the sculpt into a mold (not shown) in Meshmixer and I'll 3D print it to cast a new mask for him. The scan is dimensionally accurate so the old fur should fit right onto the new mask.
New videos coming soon! I haven't touched my animatronics in over a year as I've been focused on my mental health and getting through my commission backlog. Turns out being in denial that you have mental health issues for years really screws you up. I was diagnosed with ADHD and I recently got on meds. Currently working with my psychiatrist, therapist and doctor to improve myself!

Barney has feet again! Both were previously broken off and his left was missing altogether. I need to fiberglass over the crack on his right foot but it's currently fiberglassed on the inside so it's secure. Now he just needs some hands!
