I wanted to take the raw, iconic soul of Freshlyground's 'I'd Like' and give it a darker, more industrial home.

In 'CALL YOU SOMETIME' the acoustic warmth is replaced by a weighted subterranean kick and a persistent Djembe engine. I’ve woven a haunting minimalist felt piano through the track to capture that feeling of being "torn up inside" by a rhythm.
