I'm bringing back one of my older projects - Modern Rap as 1960s Soul
Before the newer experiments on the channel, I worked on a series where modern rap songs were reimagined as if they were recorded in the 1960s soul era — analog instruments, vintage arrangements, and a completely different emotional tone.
Instead of trap drums and modern production, these tracks lean into:
• vintage soul instrumentation
• warm analog textures
• gospel-style backing vocals
• classic Motown-inspired arrangements
The result is something that feels both familiar and completely new at the same time.
