I hit my storage unit today and I can NOT find that design project I mentioned anywhere. I'm taking it as a sign from the universe I should just start a new one from scratch. RUDE. I guess I am launching Watch Me Design Season 3 here on this new channel!

A lot of people during the livestream mentioned the peace silk looks more matte than regular silk, however, I'm looking at their price list and most fabrics they offer are more matte anyway: crepe, organza, dupioni, cotton silk blends, chiffon, georgette, twill, even habotai isn't that shiny. I still want to see the other swatches because I love a glossy, lustrous charmeuse also.

Every day brings new thoughts! I've been developing a new evening wear concept the past couple of days and my industry friends are all into it more than my denim plans. So now I'm looking into trade shows with more evening wear fabrics/production facilities. I'll be sharing the plan in the next video!

Went to a trade show here in LA yesterday (TexWorld) and I think my next trip will be to Amsterdam to attend Kingpins in October! It's the most major denim trade show in the industry. I'm really leaning into the denim track but I still have some floaty evening wear concepts I'll discuss in the next vlog.
