Here is my thoughts:
Predicated on this counsel, you should disregard the Biblical texts entirely as they represent a person or people "stepping in between you and our father." At the very least, you shouldn't allow translators to tell you what the text mean, but learn the ancient languages and read them yourself, deciding of course which copies are most accurate.
Shouldn't your knowledge of God be direct and based on personal revelation if, as you state, "Never allow anyone to step in between you and our father?"
