Most of my videos are about the music, with visuals that resonate (hopefully) but don't distract.

Several years ago, I received a solicitation from YouTube to 'monetize' my YouTube site. I immediately declined. I post these videos solely for the enjoyment of any and all who find them interesting, and I'm not seeking 'likes' or 'subscribers'. (Although I'm pleased to get comments, likes, and/or subscribers any time).

I assumed that by not monetizing my channel, those who visited it would not have to deal with the Ads, etc. Apparently I was wrong, and after looking in to the matter, it appears there is no way for me to prevent YouTube from subjecting you to advertising. So, until the Internet community finds a way to provide an ad-free alternative to this corrupt, 'great-idea gone terribly wrong...', I guess we're stuck with it.
