The Real Deal Airsoft
The need for some Real Deal Hop chamber shims came in handy on this V3 AEG. Yes they even work with v3 systems. You may have to trim with a scissor a flat cut across the top so it doesn’t get in the way with the top gearbox screw.
The best part about our shims is the ability to modify them. You can sand them down to get a perfect fit. Or you can take a scissor and modify them. They are strong and flexible.
The purpose of this part it to be able to space the hop chamber away in order to achieve perfect nozzle to bucking contact. Far too often the nozzle touches the bucking while you still have 1-3 mm of space between the hop chamber and the gearbox face. So what’s happing is your nozzle is actually crushing your bucking lips effecting feeding, the integrity and life span of your bucking.
The goal is when the nozzle is fully foward to be pressing firmly against the bucking lips while the hop chamber is pressed as far as it can against your gearbox. If your bucking contacts your nozzle and as you press your hop chamber firmly against the gearbox and you feel the tappet plate and nozzle being pushed back…. You need to use one of these shims.
