It’s more than just weakness. It’s a jealousy for the power and control men like Diddy and Karp have over marginalized people. Men didn’t stop them because they thought, if we give it enough time MAYBE we could be them.

MEDICAL CARE IN THAILAND!

Hey babes :) I wrote an article about the medical care that I've gotten in Thailand since moving here, since I've had a few people ask me about it. With Thailand regularly mentioned as one of the top 3 medical tourism destinations in the world, I wanted to share some of my treatments and how much they cost. I know the list is long but your girl is very accident-prone AND hasn't been taking care of herself for a while 🫠

Currently, a friend and my mom are contemplating visiting Thailand for medical care since tickets can be affordable if you plan ahead. My flight to Thailand was $272 USD from NYC to Bangkok.

With international flights still on line within the USA, if you in the USA, need medical care, and you don't want to go into debt for it, I strongly recommend looking into Thailand for treatments.

MEDICAL UPDATE:

So I just got back from my appointment and here’s what I now know.

1. The universe has a sick sense of humor because me, a joyfully child free woman, going to a clinic called “happybirth” is beyond ironic. Also, if you’re in Thailand and need to visit somewhere for your uterine health, I can’t recommend this enough! Great staff, the dr I saw explain EVERYTHING in so much detail, and they only hire people with uteruses. Honestly, 10 out of 10.

2. The Dr explained that I don’t have endo, fibroids, cysts, or any of the other very likely theories that were shared in the previous medical post. A blessing and a curse. Her theory is that my uterine lining is on the thicker side and that’s causing the heavy bleeding. After I told her I’m anemic and she like “do you pass out from your period?” And I’m like “sometimes” she’s like ok…. Here’s what I recommend.

3. She recommended either long term birth control or surgery. She talked about her own hysterectomy and the other options. Because of my autoimmune disease, she said that a hysterectomy might be complicated (hormone-wise) for me so I’d need to talk to my neurologist first. While it wasn’t my first choice, it’s looking like long-term birth control might be the answer to my menstrual issues. I’m thinking of getting the implant but we’ll see. I might still have to talk to my neurologist about that, just to make sure the hormones don’t mess with my NMO infusions.
