Do the Salafis Get Exhausted Constantly Calling to Tawhīd?
Shaykh al-Albani رحمه الله said:
“Nuh عليه السلام remained with his people for nine hundred and fifty years, spending his time devoted to calling (the people) to Tawhīd. Thus, it is required from us that we start with that which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ started with, and it was to firstly rectify that which has become corrupt with regards to the ‘aqidah of the Muslims.”
Dāwūd al-Tāʿī used to drink bread soup instead of eating bread. When that was mentioned to him he replied,
“The difference between chewing bread and drinking bread soup is [enough time for] the reciting of 50 verses.”
[Ibn Abī Yaʿlā, Tabaqāt al-Hanābilah (1/145), trans: Salah Al-Iranee]
Ibn ʿAqīl said,
“I try my very best to limit the time I spend eating, to such an extent that I choose dry biscuit and a sip of water over eating bread,
because of the difference in chewing [time] between the two, so as to save my time for reading or writing down some useful ideas. The best thing for the wise man to save is time.”

Ibn Aqil رحمه الله said:
"I am not allowed to waste an hour of my life. Even when I am not delivering lessons or reading, my mind would still be occupied with some matters whilst I'm lying down, and I will not get up until I find something useful to write.
I still find zeal in my search for knowledge whilst [I am] in my eighties more than when I were in my twenties."

Shaykh Rabī’i Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhalī رحمه الله said:
"Let whoever has been guided to understand the Salafi manhaj and to hold onto it praise Allah, because this is from the greatest blessings of Allah the Blessed and Exalted."
It is unfortunate to find some people performing worship by doing different types of righteous acts during Ramadan
they guard strictly their five daily prayers in the Masjid, they recite the Quraan abundantly and they give in charity from their money.
But when Ramadan comes to an end, they grow lazy in their worship.
Rather, sometimes they even abandon the obligations, both generally, such as praying in congregation, and specifically, such as praying the Fajr prayer!
And they (even) commit forbidden acts such as sleeping over the time of prayers, indulging in places of foolishness and entertainment, and mingling in parks (i.e. free mixing), especially on the day of 'Eed!
Obtaining help from these evils is only through the Grace of Allaah. Thus, they demolish what they have constructed and they destroy what they have established.
This is an indication of deprivation and a sign of perdition. We ask Allaah for His safeguarding and protection!

The mother of Sufyaan ath Thawree (d.161H) said to Sufyaan:
"Go and seek knowledge (of the religion) and I will support you by spinning the wheel (by sewing).
When you write ten ahadeeth, look and see if you have increased in (piety and righteousness). If you have, then continue (in seeking knowledge), and if you haven't then don't burden and wear yourself out."
"Don’t Have Time to Study Religion and Benefit Your Family? Your Phone Is Stealing Your Time: So Cut Back on Social Media Platforms!"
We often find that when a brother or sister, a son or daughter, is advised and told: “Why do you not set aside time to read the Qur’an, to seek knowledge, to read something beneficial, or to do activities that benefit you in your religion or your worldly life—even if only one hour a day?” He or she responds, “I don’t have time.”
But the reality of our lives exposes the futility of that claim—because we will happily spend long stretches of our day scrolling (and swiping) on our phones, and busying ourselves with things that do not benefit our religion, our family life, or our community—by wasting our time on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X.
