Guys!!! It's half way through October!! That's crazy!! I can't believe winter is up on us, even though it's still 70 degrees outside here in Indiana.
Lemme ask a question, if you're a truck driver what do you prepare for the winter months? How do you prepare? What do you keep on hand in your truck? Lemme know.

I missed it on Monday, Happy Labor Day, America!
Our driver's have been a force for 26 years in helping to keep America going.
I will always speak highly of the trucking industry, because the ones in those big rigs deserve so much credit!
Thank you Truckers for helping keep America moving!

Hello everyone! I didn't make any post at the end of 2024, beginning of 2025. I'd like to just take a moment & say thank you, thank you for being here, thank you for making 2024 a good year. Hopefully 2025 will be a lot better. Things are already looking up in this industry. I know 2024 was hard for a lot of us, including myself. my family lost a family member who was only 20 yrs old to the fentanyl crisis. So the end of my year was terrible and everything came crashing down. So hopefully 2025 is a year of focus. Working hard to get more traction on all our social media platforms, focused on getting more drivers in the door, and are looking for a career company. Also in 2024 I was working hard behind the scenes and we became accredited with the Better business bureau, and also named one of the top 10 companies in Schererville, IN. I've been putting in the work, and results are coming. So please stay tuned in 2025, and let's see what we can accomplish.

So just a quick question for any drivers new to the industry or have been here for years. What do y'all look for in a company when looking for a driving job/ career? What catches your attention? What makes you want to stay? Have you ever worked for a company that you thought you'd retire from & that didn't happen. What drives you in this industry. We've noticed a change in not only the industry but the drivers over the last couple years. And I'm just curious what drives you, what motivates you, what makes you sign on to the company? We'd love to hear your answers.

It's no secret that we're hiring company drivers. But it is tough out there. Not just for the companies hiring drivers, but for the ones looking for work whether it's a driving job or anything in general it's tough out there. So on 7/18/25 we attended a job fair at three20 in Chesterton, Indiana. We got feedback, introduced ourselves to the people at work one, and got to talk to some pretty cool individuals who we probably would have never talked to. I would suggest any company who is hiring go to a job fair! Job fairs will be on our list of things we will start doing as they come around.

A few days late but here we are!! We've been running loads coast to coast since 1999. We've only been doing parades since 2023. If you're around the Northwest Indiana area you may be seeing more of us at events and different things like that. We are hiring. So I'm going to be working double time to try to get more drivers. But anyway this was the final look for the 2024 4th of July parade truck. I worked hard, spent many hours on this, (if you saw the Livestream of me decorating then you know). I love it! Now I gotta up my game for 2025.

MC Tank Lines

Hello!! Welcome! We noticed we haven't really introduced ourselves to YouTube... As you can see we are MC Tank Lines. This is the family behind the MC name. Mark, Janelle, Brittany & Breanne.
Mark has been in trucking since he was 17 years old. Starting with hauling cattle to the Chicago stockyards, then going into hauling watermelons to Florida, after that he got into asphalt. After that the fun begins!! tankers! Thru the 80's & 90's he owned a different trucking company. In May of 1999 MC Tank Lines & Brittany's Tote & Tank opened in Schererville, Indiana, about 30 miles southeast of Chicago in the northwest corner of Indiana. Since 1999 MC Tank Lines has run coast to coast being a premier hazmat carrier. We take pride in our fleet & what our company has to offer. Mark drove for over 40's coast to coast so he knows what truckers go through on the road. Mark retired from driving in December of 2012. But still very much involved in everything we do day to day and still dispatches. Both of Mark's daughters have worked in our office, and Breanne has worked in accounting since 2011. She also runs all our social media pages. Janelle held a wastewater license for Brittany's Tote & Tank. We no longer operate the tank wash. So when we say a family business we actually mean it! We are a small company with 37 trucks. 5 of our drivers have been here for 10-20 years. One will have 21 years in July! We consider our drivers family. We have 11 office/ shop employees with over 250 years of experience in the trucking industry or the fields in which they do here whether it's IT or accounting, or mechanical maintenance. Btw our shop manager has worked with Mark since the 1970's.
In conclusion we are a small family owned trucking company that's climbing to new heights. If you're interested in a truck driving career and you have your class A CDL w/ a hazmat endorsement please go check out our website for more info. You can send your resume and fill out an application on our website. www.mctanklines.net
THANKS!!!

These pictures really don't have anything to do with the post. But quick question . I have a video with a poll on it over on TT, but as a truck driver do you prefer to work for smaller trucking companies or the big trucking companies? Whatever you answer, why. What made you go the route you went. What are your pros & cons to whatever you chose or didn't choose. I'm curious to know. MC Tank Lines is all I've ever known.
