Part 1


The sun was just beginning to set over the quiet town of San Dimas, California, casting long shadows across the empty streets. In front of a familiar convenience store, a figure stood—his bright green eyes reflecting a curious, mischievous glint. The tabby cat, now known as コロ先生 (Koro Sensei), raised a paw, as if to address the heavens themselves.

"Welcome to San Dimas, California, in the year of our Lord 1988," he announced in a voice that rang with authority and amusement. "A most peculiar day indeed, for on this very day, a child was born—one whose life would be far from ordinary."

He paused, the air around him thick with the weight of ancient knowledge, before continuing.

"This child, not yet named, would one day cross paths with me—his destiny tied to mine in ways even he cannot yet fathom. But before he can meet his fate, he must first survive this world... and perhaps, this strange little town that holds secrets beyond its innocent facade."

The cat flicked his tail, a silent chuckle escaping him.

"It is here, at this very moment, where the story begins. And while time is but a fleeting concept to those like me, to him, it will seem to stretch on forever..."

With a slow, deliberate turn, コロ先生 began to walk away, his paws barely making a sound on the pavement. Just as he reached the edge of the street, a sudden whoosh and the sharp sound of a mechanical hum filled the air—a flicker of something out of place.

He stopped, glancing back over his shoulder with a smirk.

"Ah, but I see you're already imagining things. No, the phone booth is not our story."

He chuckled to himself as the hum faded away, leaving the quiet town to its secrets.
