RAKKATAKKA RETURNS – LIVE IN 2025! After roaring through this summer’s festival stages, we’re not ready to let the a cappella metal fire die down - so we’re bringing the Rakkatakka back to the clubs this November for four exclusive headline shows in Germany! Get ready for an evening packed with pure vocal power, pounding drums and a setlist full of energy! Let’s turn these nights into a celebration of everything that makes Van Canto live so special. Bring your voices - we’ll bring the Rakkatakka!
Dong Open Air confirmed! The festival has a very special place in our hearts and we are all the more delighted to finally be playing there again after 15 years! See you all at “Mount Moshmore”!
After this year's amazing festivals and the incredible energy we shared with you, we’re ready for more! Our journey into 2025 begins with the announcement of Masters of Rock Festival in the Czech Republic. We can’t wait to hit the stage and see you there!

Nachricht von Jan: "Liebe Van Cantians, wie einigen von euch schon aufgefallen ist, stehe ich nicht mehr mit Van Canto auf der Bühne. Der Grund hierfür ist eine chronische Nierenkrankheit, die mich aufgrund der Behandlungsart Dialyse stark in meiner Mobilität einschränkt. Damit bin ich nicht allein: Mehr als 8.496 Menschen stehen allein in Deutschland aktuell auf der Warteliste für eine Organtransplantation. Die Wartezeit auf eine Spenderniere beträgt im Durchschnitt ca. fünf Jahre – das muss nicht sein! In Spanien zum Beispiel, wo man der Spende aktiv widersprechen muss, beträgt die Wartezeit weniger als 2 Jahre! Words from Jan: "Dear Van Cantians, As some of you may have already noticed, I am no longer performing on stage with Van Canto. The reason for this is a chronic kidney disease, which severely limits my mobility due to the nature of the treatment, dialysis. I am not alone in this: more than 8,496 people in Germany are currently on the waiting list for an organ transplant. The average waiting time for a donor kidney is about five years – but it doesn't have to be that long! In Spain, for example, where one must actively opt out of donation, the waiting time is less than 2 years! And to add a bit more metal to all this: if you like the idea of your body doing some good even after you’re gone, become an organ donor! I am deeply grateful for the unforgettable experiences I have had with Basti, Stef, Inga, Ike, Ross, and Hagen on stage and in the studio.
