Hi my name is Richard Lake and apparently I am ultra cyclist. I spend most of social life riding bicycles, going wildcamping and enjoying as many type 2 bikepacking adventures as I can possibly fit in a calendar month!
Whether it's a road bike, gravel bike of mountain bike - as long as it's got two wheels - I am there!
My neck of the woods is Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the Peak District, but thanks to #vanlife I'll often go further afield whether it's seeking out adventures in the North and South Downs, Wales, Northumberland or the Yorkshire Dales.
I also ride countless audax events throughout the year and have ridden many audaxes across the country.

Starting in the capital of the wolds in the picturesque town of Louth, the ride begins from Larders Coffee bar in the centre of town. Considering leaving the video camera at home this weekend for the GB Escapades and just taking a few snaps along the way. I record just about every adventure sometimes it would be nice to take a break!
