The unhealthy Nkuhlu male was found dead on September 12th. Cause of death remains unknown as conflicting reports come from the area, some claiming a combination of starvation and sickness, while others say he succumbed to injuries from a fight with the four N'waswitshaka males. Seems like they can't get their story together, and yet again a unresolved death for the coalition in the area.
Regardless of the reason, Crooked Tail is gone, and is the fourth Nkuhlu male to pass away this year, joining his late brothers and leaving no more unhealthy males around for people to antagonize.
Smudge, the oldest Nkuhlu male ended up outliving all of his younger brothers and now stands as the last surviving of what was a seven strong coalition.

LERAI
This young king is another general of Ripoi Conservancy. Alongside his brother Nkarabali, he controlls a Megapride, which consists of sub adults and many cubs of different ages. If you guys remember, this is the legendary Normasi Pride. The pride lost 5 lionesses, 2/3 of their kings (Rekero Boys) and a bunch of cubs due to human wildlife conflict. The 3 remaining lioness rebuild their pride, more than 20 members today carry Normasi/Ripoi genes.
Nkarabali and Lerai are in their prime(8-9 years old). Their sons were last sighted a few months ago on charge of Sopa Pride. I dont have much updates on them. If someone has something, you are welcome to share.
Lerai and his brothers are male descendants of the legendary Notch coalition. Just like their fathers and grandfathers, Lerai and his brother started their reign, when they were 3 years old.
