Hi y'all! Welcome to The Mighty Bujo. I'm Allison and I live in Texas. I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling-mom. Despite having only discovered the Bullet Journaling world this past summer, I can't believe how much of a help it's been to me already! So I thought I'd document my journey with my own journal and hopefully inspire someone else to give it a try or provide some new ideas to those that are already making their own.
Other than playing with my Bullet Journal, I am hooked on the Drifter Challenge created by Vihisha for The Sims 4, so you'll likely find pages regarding The Sims in my videos as well.

The universe has decided to keep me hopping all week, instead of letting me work on a video to announce our December Start & Stop Buddy Read winner. Good news! I just finished reading our 1st segment of The Moonstone. Provided that the universe doesn't have any surprises in store for me today, I should be able to get it edited and ready to publish for tomorrow, so our Buddy Read will officially begin at noon on Monday, May 20th with a video coming out every other day until we reach the end of the book. I can't wait to see what y'all thought of the beginning!
Now to go make sense of the 5 HOURS of video that I have sitting on my phone. lol I've got a full day of editing ahead of me.
Most importantly, thank you so much for your support and understanding with the delay! I'm so fortunate to have found such a great group of people to gush about books with! *huge hugs to you all!*

Unfortunately, tomorrow's video for the May Start & Stop Buddy Read of The Moonstone is going to be delayed.
We had some unexpected doctors appointments pop up this week, the upstairs AC broke, the fridge is misbehaving, and I'm mentally exhausted. (Gee, I wonder why?!) Thankfully, the medical issues are not too alarming - just time consuming, the AC guy is coming tomorrow morning, and I'm starting to rebound a bit. Long way of saying, I'm hoping to start reading/filming tonight and will do my best to get it edited & uploaded for y'all at some point tomorrow. Worst case scenario, I'll start reading & filming tomorrow after the repair guy leaves, then go from there.
I'm sorry for the delay & hope this won't be too disappointing for those of you that are waiting to start our buddy read. I'd rather start a bit later than planned, when I'm not so taxed mentally, than rush out a subpar video just to make the deadline. Again, I'm sorry y'all! I hope this doesn't interfere with anyone's plans or library due dates!!
I'll be sure to do another post once I have things back under control. Very worst case scenario, we'll begin on Monday, but I'm not giving up hope on Saturday or Sunday.
Gotta run... Jack the kitten just got his paw stuck in the toaster! Can my life get any more chaotic?! Never mind, don't answer that! lol

Today's From Below buddy read video will be a bit delayed. I just finished reading/filming the 5th stop & am about to start the editing process. Thankfully, my day is clear so I'll be able to dedicate the afternoon to it. As soon as I finish, I'll start the uploading process. I'm guessing it should be available for y'all by 6pm central. Hopefully sooner.
