Hate crimes which target people on the grounds of their sexuality or gender identity, or a disability, are set to become aggravated offences under a proposed new law.

An amendment to the Crimes and Policing Bill will mean a crime is aggravated if a victim is targeted because of those characteristics, and will carry a higher penalty.

The LGBT+ anti-abuse charity Galop described the amendment as a "landmark moment" for equality.

The bill, which is currently progressing through the House of Lords and is not yet law, is intended to introduce measures to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour and will apply to England and Wales.

We hear nonsense like "diversity is our biggest strength" all the time from the weak left.

Culture differs from place to place. And not in all good ways. Many Middle Eastern countries treat homosexual people appallingly, treat women like second class citizens. Thats a culture difference we do not want here in the UK.

The left are experts at totally ignoring anything that points to them being wrong. And this is one of the big ones.

Lets take Gaza for example. Being homosexual in Gaza was as good as a de&th sentence under Hamas, you would be snatched by security services, beaten, abused..even your family would be targeted.

But who supports the Hamas government every Saturday after 12 midday (because lefties can't get out of bed before 11am can they) The rainbow gang.

Here in the UK we have many problems. And diversity is a part of that. Because the would means conformity. "IF YOU ARE AGAINST DIVERSITY. YOU ARE INTOLERANT AND A BIGOT ". Thats the sob story. I love visiting other countries and seeing how different they live. Doesn't mean I want to take that way of life with me.

China for example, a beautiful place, amazing people and history. But I don't ever want to see dogs being sold as meat in tiny cages on British markets. Or be told by the government i can't speak against them.

British culture has bad points too. Absolutely. But this is our culture. No one asked anyone to move here.
