Special congrats to Jacob Skaggs, a colleague of ‪@the.hive.of.the.ozarks‬, where I met him. He just graduated from ‪@missouristateuniversity‬ with a Bachelor's degree in the Bear POWER program.

Here's an interesting fact, Jacob is a son of ‪@MelissaSkaggs‬, the founder and owner of The Hive.

I saw two faculty members from ‪@ozarkstech‬'s Disability Support Services program: Jeffrey Jones, the director; and Julie Edwards Holmes. They both no longer work at OTC, just MSU.

I recently started to study TWO new languages:
1. Finnish, because I read from the web that Finland has been named the happiest country in the world. They're also culturally known for sisu and their love of nature.
2. Norwegian, because I read that Norway has also been named among the happiest few countries in the world. I also follow ‪@SoothingRelaxation‬​ on YouTube. He specializes in beautiful new age music, his videos comprise beautiful nature scenery, and he comes from Norway! Randomly coming across a sleep video with "Flying" is how I got interested in his sleep videos.

I enjoyed a nice early birthday dinner with my old friend ‪@shaynamarose5431‬ at Crave Mediterranean cafe, the new Mediterranean (Greek & Middle Eastern) restaurant in the modern Southside of Springfield. I got to meet her brother ‪@gmanfishing6764‬, whose fishing videos I used to watch on YouTube; and his wife Trisha. They came to the Ozarks for Thanksgiving, but they live in Oregon.

We tried Turkish coffee, a special Mediterranean kind of coffee. It tasted stronger than I'm used to. I could even taste the coffee grinds.

I ordered TWO appetizers: Baba Ganoush (served with pita bread) and Dolmades. They were both somewhat delicious, albeit a bit exotic. I even ordered a really delicious dessert, Halva.

The Northern Lights from my apartment in Springfield, Missouri. I managed to get them in my phone camera's Night mode.

They can be harder to see in the city, but they are certainly as spectacular and colorful as many of the sunsets with which the Ozarks were endowed this hot summer.

This Friday, November 7, marked the 60th anniversary of the bright, cheery colorful TV commercial debut of ‪‪@pillsbury‬ ‬Doughboy Poppin' Fresh. So here is my enhanced version of that vibrant, perky commercial to celebrate. It looks better overall than the original YouTube version, published a year and a half ago by ‪‪@all_life_commercial‬ (https://youtu.be/EY9fK1fSVW0).

‪@ky3news‬, a local TV news station in Springfield, Missouri, inspired me to look for and enhance this commercial last year via a special announcement they had made on Instagram: "On November 7, 1965, the Pillsbury Doughboy made his first appearance". I'm pretty sure that means November 7, 1965, is the exact date this commercial premiered on television.
