Update on ARCANE...sigh. About 24 hours after I posted it, (a few days after I actually uploaded that particular version of the edit) episode 1x3 got fully copyright blocked, and I haven't been able to get it cleared. This has been an ongoing problem with Arcane, and despite having most of it already edited (I wanted to be far enough ahead that I could post consistently), I haven't been able to get more than the first two episodes posted.

I've been trying for a while now to figure out what's wrong, because despite dealing with copyright for years, this is new territory. I've never had videos go from fully monetized to globally blocked, over and over like this, to the point I can't even get it posted. I've uploaded identical videos, at the same time, had one get blocked, the other cleared, and then blocked a few days later.

My editor even runs copyright checks before he sends me videos, and they clear with no problem for him, but get blocked as soon as I upload them. So it has to be an issue on my channel.

I've come to find I'm not the first to deal with copyright issues on Arcane, and my best guess right now is that I'm being manually flagged. We're working behind the scenes right now to try to get things cleared, but as much as I hate to say it, I think I'm going to have to take a pause from posting Arcane, until I'm sure we've got the issue worked out, and I can post episodes consistently. I'm moving up some other projects that have been waiting in the wings, so hopefully by the time I circle back to Arcane, I'm off the watch list. Frustratingly, this is pretty on brand for complications this past year. Trying to get things turned around though!

LA Wildfire Update -- I wanted to jump on here and give a quick update, as a lot of you know I live in Los Angeles. Thankfully, I haven't been in the path of the fire, or an evacuation zone, and I'm so grateful for that. I know too many people who have not been as lucky; friends and family who have had to evacuate, and many who have lost everything. Even outside of the danger zones, there's ash everywhere, and we're keeping our doors and windows shut because of the smoke.

It's hard to wrap my mind around the scale, and I'm doing what little I can to help. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me, and to anyone else here in LA, please stay safe! We'll support you in any way we can. ❤️

Hey everybody,

I apologize for not updating you sooner. I had posted a notice on Patreon, but I realize I had neglected to say anything here, and that was wrong of me. Alas, there's been a lot happening behind the scenes. Not long after I uploaded episode 2 of Fallout, I found myself in the Emergency Room with severe stomach pain, and other symptoms that had been getting worse in the prior days/weeks. Thankfully it was nothing too serious, but upon treatment, the consensus was that it was triggered by stress. Between grief over family tragedy, helping with the memorial service, trying to get back to work, and wanting to make sure I was respectful of my audience, I wound up stressing myself physically sick.

I posted a public update about this on Patreon, and I genuinely don't know why I didn't post the same thing here. I was admittedly a little out of sorts, and I also didn't expect it to take so long for me to start uploading again. I wound up taking a bit of a social media detox, because alas, I've been a proper mess lately, and the last month or two feel like an absolute blur to me.

Unfortunately, I also wasn't the only member of my family to wind up in the hospital in the past few weeks, and we've all been doing our best to support each other. I've been working on videos a few hours at a time, trying to get things finished, and finding ways to make sure that I don't land myself in the ER again.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here, and I'm currently prepping food and counting my blessings. I'm so thankful for all of you, and again, I apologize for not keeping you more updated. Family and health have been my priority, and you have all been so kind and supportive, I knew you'd understand my taking some time away. In fact, many of you encouraged me to do so. I want you to know that you are a huge priority for me, I absolutely love doing reactions, and I've got a great deal that I can't wait to share with you. You are my internet family, and I appreciate you so much.

Secondly, I want to address the copycat account/bot that was spamming the announcement video (as "MOVIE_NIGHT_WITH_JACQUI"). That absolutely WAS NOT me, and I blocked it as soon as I became aware. I apologize if you received scam replies to your comments, but it has been dealt with, and hopefully will not cause any more problems.

Alas, I'm admitting temporary defeat. Final Cut Pro has now failed to export Serenity half a dozen times, and the program has crashed three times. I've tried everything I could to get this video out on schedule, but at this point, even if it exported right now, I don't think it would be done uploading and processing by noon. I'm so sorry I'm going to have to delay!

I'm working on it as we speak, so I will try to get Part One posted today, or at worst, it'll drop when Part Two was scheduled for tomorrow, and Part Two will just move to Sunday or Monday. Either way, Serenity is not far away. Thank you for your patience, and please cross your fingers the powers that be don't send me another technical issue this week. Stay shiny, Browncoats!

Hey everybody! I talked about this a bit on Patreon (the "goals" video is available to the public, if you're curious), and have been meaning to post about it here, but I've been handling a few things the past few weeks that meant I had to pause editing for the moment. However, I'm actually going to be able to start doing this full time going forward 🎉 so everything will be coming out much more smoothly! I've just been trying to manage the transition, and wrap up a bunch of stuff with my other jobs. MASTERS OF THE AIR will finish up here this week, and starting next week, I'll be posting BAND OF BROTHERS back-to-back-to-back, so the whole series will be up in the next two weeks.
