I personally have never lived without Instagram in last 11 years of its existence and this last one week since my Instagram account has been wrongfully disabled , it’s actually not that bad.
I do feel I have more time in the day. I have caught up on reading books. I have not watched any irrelevant stories of people I don’t know or liking posts of people that give me nothing in return, I realise there is a life without means after 11 years there is a life without posting stories.
There is a life beyond posting reels and even though I am a content creator I just forgot how much I was addicted to @instagram , like I knew I was addicted, but I didn’t know HOW MUCH until my account was deactivated !
This is the activation/disabling of my account. Sort of came as a blessing in disguise where it gave me time to reflect as to how much I was letting it consume my existence.
Don’t get me wrong. I would still be on Instagram, but this time I’m going to allocate IT time from my schedule than Instagram allocating me time for my schedule . #wakeupcall #instagram #socialmediaaddiction #instagramaddiction #socialmedia
