My work includes fox, deer and vermin control, as well as the management of wildlife health and sustainability. I'm skilled in using a range of firearms, from airguns to centrefire rifles, tailoring my techniques to each unique task.
Hunting, for me, is more than just a profession, it's a way of life rooted in ethical practices and a deep respect for the environment. I work on farms and shooting estates, helping to maintain nature’s balance through responsible wildlife management. In this episode tonight on YouTube from 19.00, I head out for an unforgettable evening of UK fox control from the high seat, equipped with my Custom Sako A3 Stainless .243 Winchester, ThermTec thermal riflescope, and InfiRay thermal spotter.
Conditions are perfect, the countryside comes alive after dark, and the thermal gear gives an incredible view of everything moving across the fields. As well as searching for foxes, we encounter some amazing British wildlife throughout the night, including a curious badger, a stunning low-flying tawny owl, and one absolutely huge mystery bird that appears out of nowhere!

News flash from MFL Outdoors: long-awaited reforms to the law on sound moderators are now in force across England, Wales and Scotland, following confirmation that Section 44 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 has come into effect according to BASC.
Sound moderators are safety devices, not firearms in their own right, and should not be regulated as such.
Under Section 44, sound moderators and flash suppressors have been removed from the definition of a firearm under Section 57 of the Firearms Act 1968. Instead, it is now an offence to possess one without the appropriate firearm or shotgun certificate, unless an exemption applies.
The biggest change for certificate holders is the end of the variation requirement. Shooters will no longer need to apply, pay a fee or wait for approval before acquiring a sound moderator, saving both time and money.
The reform is also expected to ease pressure on police firearms licensing departments. Sound moderators account for around a third of all firearms recorded on the National Firearms Licensing Management System, and removing the need to process those entries should reduce bureaucracy and help lighten the workload on already stretched licensing teams.

🐾 Hi everyone! Just a quick update from me and the newest member of the team, **Buster the Cocker Spaniel**! 🐶
I've been a little tied up recently helping Buster settle into his new role, and he's coming on brilliantly. That's the main reason there hasn't been a new video on the channel for a short while.
The good news is that I've been extremely busy behind the scenes, and there's plenty of exciting content on the way! 🎥🔥

COMING 15/04/2026 AT 19.30 on YouTube MFL OUTDOORS
Out on a thermal night hunt in the UK, I thought this fox would be a straightforward opportunity… but it quickly turned into a real game of cat and mouse.
Using my Tikka T3x Ace Target Rifle and thermal setup, I tracked this fox through thick cover and low visibility—but this one wasn’t making it easy. Every movement felt like it was being watched, and just when I thought I had the advantage, things changed fast.
This was one of those hunts that reminds you just how intelligent and unpredictable foxes can be, especially under the cover of darkness.
If you enjoy real UK hunting content, night shooting, and thermal foxing, this one’s for you.
