This turned into an absolutely fantastic night on a rabbit control contract, with 50+ rabbits accounted for during an action-packed night in the field. I'm out with my Browning T-Bolt in .22LR, taking carefully placed short- and longer-range shots under the cover of darkness.

The night-time setup includes the HIKMICRO Alpex 4K LRF digital day/night scope and the InfiRay Unique UH50 thermal spotter, giving me the tools to locate, identify and assess what's happening in the field before taking a shot.

📢 **A LITTLE CHANNEL UPDATE — AND SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS!** 📢

Hi everyone,

First of all, I just want to say a **massive thank you for all your continued support**. ❤️

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve put a video out, and there’s a good reason for it. I’ve been extremely busy behind the scenes organising a few things for the channel, and I’m very excited to finally be able to share some of it with you!

I’m absolutely delighted to announce that I have partnered up with NOCPIX, one of the biggest suppliers of thermal and night vision products here in the UK and around the world. 🔥

As many of you will know, I have always used InfiRay products, and as InfiRay is part of the same company, this is a really exciting opportunity for me and the channel. I’ve got some fantastic content coming up, and I honestly think you’re going to love what I have planned!

I have actually been out a few nights recently and have seen some foxes, but unfortunately, none of them wanted to play ball! 😂

A couple were also well over 900 metres away, so unfortunately I didn’t get any shots worth filming. I didn’t want to put a video out for the sake of it — I’m sure you don’t want to watch me sitting in the cab all night while the wildlife casually strolls past! 😂

I’m hoping to get a new video out to you all this Friday, all being well with the weather. The forecast isn’t looking particularly good for the next week, but I’ll be doing my absolute best to get out and get some footage for you.

There are some really exciting things coming to the channel, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

The plan was simple... deal with a family of foxes.

But what I discovered instead was something I never expected, and it led to some of the most incredible thermal wildlife footage I've ever captured.

This one has a twist, plenty of action, and raises an interesting question about protected wildlife and the challenges faced by farmers.

In this episode tonight on YouTube from 19.00, I head out for an unforgettable evening of UK fox control from the high seat, equipped with my Custom Sako A3 Stainless .243 Winchester, ThermTec thermal riflescope, and InfiRay thermal spotter.

Conditions are perfect, the countryside comes alive after dark, and the thermal gear gives an incredible view of everything moving across the fields. As well as searching for foxes, we encounter some amazing British wildlife throughout the night, including a curious badger, a stunning low-flying tawny owl, and one absolutely huge mystery bird that appears out of nowhere!

News flash from MFL Outdoors: long-awaited reforms to the law on sound moderators are now in force across England, Wales and Scotland, following confirmation that Section 44 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 has come into effect according to BASC.

Sound moderators are safety devices, not firearms in their own right, and should not be regulated as such.

Under Section 44, sound moderators and flash suppressors have been removed from the definition of a firearm under Section 57 of the Firearms Act 1968. Instead, it is now an offence to possess one without the appropriate firearm or shotgun certificate, unless an exemption applies.

The biggest change for certificate holders is the end of the variation requirement. Shooters will no longer need to apply, pay a fee or wait for approval before acquiring a sound moderator, saving both time and money.

The reform is also expected to ease pressure on police firearms licensing departments. Sound moderators account for around a third of all firearms recorded on the National Firearms Licensing Management System, and removing the need to process those entries should reduce bureaucracy and help lighten the workload on already stretched licensing teams.

🐾 Hi everyone! Just a quick update from me and the newest member of the team, **Buster the Cocker Spaniel**! 🐶

I've been a little tied up recently helping Buster settle into his new role, and he's coming on brilliantly. That's the main reason there hasn't been a new video on the channel for a short while.

The good news is that I've been extremely busy behind the scenes, and there's plenty of exciting content on the way! 🎥🔥

✅ A fantastic **foxing video** is already filmed and ready for editing.

✅ A **day and night double-figure rabbiting video** has also been completed and will be hitting the channel soon.

✅ I've got some **great new shooting gear and hunting equipment** lined up for review.
