HAPPY NEW YEAR! 明けましておめでとうございます！I'm here again with the yearly rambling! 2024 has been a great year overall for me. Hopefully yours as well. It just passed so quickly...
I feel like 2024's covers felt very close to the quality I strive for. Continuing 2023, I've been focusing more on songs that can bring out the best out of the instruments I can play. My bass playing has also improved a lot since I started a couple of years ago. Not to mention, the violin made a debut for one of my covers. When the opportunity is right, I'd like to implement it more.
I haven't really announced this explicitly, but you may have noticed the change in the channel name. The handle "DarkAngelWJ" didn't sit right with me for a long while. I haven't been using it in any of my other socials for quite a while either. So I finally decided to change it. I'm still WJ though ( ´ ▽ ` )b
Unrelated to the channel, but I also was able to finally visit Japan for the first time. But that may be a story for another time...

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 明けましておめでとうございます！I'm here again with the yearly rambling! Looking back at 2023, I've managed to reach some nice milestones on the channel: covering songs I've always wanted to do and reaching 20k subscribers.
It's been 10 years since my first upload. Kinda insane now that I think about it. Looking back at those past covers, it hurts watching them, haha. But at the same time, it is proof of how much I've improved since then.
I started playing the electric guitar and uploading covers of my own because I watched other people covering anisons on YouTube. Since then I've met new people and formed this nice small community.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the years! Hope the best for your 2024 and as always stay safe!!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a nice time celebrating! 2019 might not have been the best for the channel. I would've liked to see the channel grow more. Unfortunately, a lot of IRL stuff came up, with college being the most time and energy consuming one.
I should have more time next semester, so I hope to make up for the time I've been inactive. I have been working on a song I've been wanting to cover for a very long time now and it fits very well with the New Year theme. You can look forward to it =w=

I haven't been able to push as many covers as I wanted due to college being more demanding than I initially thought. And when I have the free time, I lack the motivation and energy. I prefer not to record anything when I'm not in a 100% state. Next semester should be a lot less stressful for me so I hope I can make up for the time I have been inactive. I have decided to reupload the covers that got taken down without notice on the backup channel and I'm also planning to upload covers that are risky to put on the main channel there as well. So subscribe there if you want to be updated. I'll make sure to make a post surrounding newly uploaded covers here as well. My "Caste Room" and "Deal with the devil" cover will be available later too. They'll be updated with the new cover format as well! Also, covers that I'm confident on posting without copyright problems, I will upload on the main channel.
I've also decided to put my Twitter account in actual use, finally. I'll be posting videos directly onto there as well. If something were to happen to a cover on YouTube, they'd most likely be still available on Twitter for the time being.
