Pico Room

The “2890 miking” technique employs two figure-8 microphones in a dual mono configuration, positioned at a 90° inward-facing angle. Ideal for singer-songwriters who perform vocals and guitar simultaneously, this setup captures a cohesive and natural sound image. Thanks to the complementary phase alignment, the result is a sonically rich and realistic recording that requires minimal post-processing.
