When it comes to life as a farmer or homesteader, having land, amazing skills and how-to knowledge still doesn't guarantee success in the bigger picture.
Often we reach goals just to notice, that other areas in our life have suffered.
- I made money but lost touch with my kids
- I grew a a good crop but killed soil life
- I started a successful business but my health is down the drain
What do you do to prevent this? My approach below!
My wife and I work with a specific decision making process that helps us to think of the bigger picture that is unique for us.
This process helps us to manage our life and everything that is part of it, our finances and our impact on the environment and our land as one.
This approach is called "Holistic Management" and it has become one of my passions as an Accredited Professional with the Savory Institute to train, coach and teach others on how to become sound farmers through managing holistically.

It's happening!!! After waiting since November of 2021, and getting my waiver approved on August 18, the embassy in Vienna now gave me the "go" to submit my passport so that they can issue my visa. We are so excited that we can see family and friends soon again after almost 5 years!

I have been wanting to make a video for a couple of weeks now to update you all on my visa. We are extremely busy currently, wrapping up summer by serving on a Christian conference center in Austria. I will first be able to update you with a video in a couple of weeks. However, I can let you know that I had my interview and it went as expected. I did not get my visa and was found inadmissible. What this really means and what we are doing next, we will share with all of you in our upcoming video. P.S.: Please don't be upset. We have peace about the situation and are trusting God with His timing and still believe we will be able to move.
