Sometimes people act as if the poor blind people should not have to ride public transportation, but our public transportation system gives me the most freedom! I love having access to mass transit, and I want it to improve for EVERYONE!
Growing up, my dad didn’t have a car, so I rode TriMet with him. Since I was born legally blind and unable to drive, this would work out in my favor because I learned how to get around by myself on public transportation at an early age.

The sound of dishes clinking or trees rustling in the wind. Feel the cool breeze, or the warmth of a fire. Curl up with your fuzzy socks and a soft blanket and doze off to the sound of your holiday favorites. There is so much to enjoy with your other senses.
