Pakistan encompasses a rich diversity of landscapes, starting in the northwest, from the soaring Pamirs and the Karakoram Range through a maze of mountain ranges, a complex of valleys, and inhospitable plateaus, down to the remarkably even surface of the fertile Indus River plain, which drains southward into the Arabian Sea. It contains a section of the ancient Silk Road and the Khyber Pass, the famous passageway that has brought outside influences into the otherwise isolated subcontinent. Lofty peaks such as K2 and Nanga Parbat, in the Pakistani-administered region of Kashmir, present a challenging lure to mountain climbers. Along the Indus River, the artery of the country, the ancient site of Mohenjo-daro marks one of the cradles of civilization.

اک جہان ہیبت کہ جہاں ٹور گائیڈ کے بغیر جانا واقعی دانشمندی نہیں ہے ۔ کیونکہ اکثر ایسے جنگل و بیابانوں میں موبائل سگنلز نہیں آتے اور اکثر تو راستے بھی بھول بھلیوں جیسے ہوتے ہیں یا پھر سرے سے پگڈنڈیاں تک نہیں ہوتیں اور آپ اپنی جستجو میں مگن درختوں کے درمیان گھاس اور جھاڑیوں کو دائیں بائیں ہٹاتے آگے بڑھےچلے جاتے ہیں اور ایسی صورت میں اگر آپ کوئی نشانات چھوڑے بنا جاتے ہیں تو اکثر واپسی کی راہ گم کر بیٹھتے ہیں اس لئے جب کبھی ایسے علاقے کا رخ کریں تو ہمیشہ گھر والوں یا کم از کم دوست احباب میں سے ضرور کسی کو اپنی ٹرپ کی لوکیشن اور درانیہ ضرور بتا کر جائیں اور اگر کسی نئے علاقے کے سفر پر ہیں جہاں پہلی بار وزٹ کر رہیں تو بہتر ہے کہ کسی گائیڈ کی سروسز لے لیں یا کسی ایسے شخص سے مدد لیں جو وہاں پہلے جا چکا ہو اور ایک بات کہ جتنی ذیادہ معلومات ہونگی اتنا ہی آپ محفوظ ہوتے ہیں اور سفر سے خوب لطف اندوز و محظوظ ہونگے۔
